Q: Would these be appropriate as part of a school uniform, or are they too tight?

I think that these would work for school. They are 100% cotton and thus not as tight as other leggings. We do also sell a jersey pant with pockets that is also worth considering. My daughter is 6 years old and 49 inches. The leggings were plenty long and I think she should be able to wear them for another year.

Q: Are these leggings cropped or full length?

I ordered a size 5 and it fits my daughter who is 5 1/2 as a full length leggings.
