Dermablend Leg & Body Makeup Foundation Spf 25, 20N, 3.4 Fl Oz

Well, I read a ton of reviews for this product before purchasing it, and the comments ranged from love it to hate it. But here is my story - first, I am 58, and while I had great looking legs in my early years, I developed a skin condition (I can't spell it and won't even try) which has left my legs spotted and blotchy. I am also fair skinned, and still get a spray tan in the summer to give me some color. However, that only makes the spots on my legs darker and more noticeable. It's really ugly and I hate it, so I avoid shorts. But in the hot 100 degree Southern heat, those are hard to avoid. SO I figured I should at least try this product. I did not have high hopes. Long story short - yes, this is a make-up coverage, it does not claim to be a sun tan product. If you apply it lightly, as it recommends, it has definitely helped the appearance of my legs to the point I have started wearing dresses and shorts, which is wonderful! It does not cover all my spots, but I did not expect it to, as I have so many and they are prominent. But it covers the spots enough that I am comfortable showing my legs. Yes, the make up will and can come off if you don't allow it to dry, which can take a couple of hours. And yes, it will come off on your clothes to some degree, just like normal make up will do - but no big deal, it washes off. But it's not a big problem. Small price to pay for being able to wear shorts again. I find the make up lasts a good two days for me, even with a shower or two. I don't scrub my legs in the shower, so it stays on. But after that, it will wear off, just like make up. I do recommend this product, and hope anyone interested will at least try it. It has really made me happy that I can show my legs again.

I haven't worn it out, I only trialed it to see if it matched my skin tone. I applied it to my ankle and let it set. I ran my hand across it and there wasn't any transfer. I went to bed with it on and there wasn't anything left on my sheets. I am 68 yrs old. I don't know if it adheres so well due to my skin is very dry at this age. I was expecting it to be very thick and hard to spread but it went on easily. My ankles are discolored and darker than my upper leg. It covered it well.

So I thought I looked somewhat orange but everyone else said it was fine. Pictures showed up fine as well with no noticeable traits of makeup - except on my dress. Maybe I should have let it set for an hour but I don’t think it would matter much. It was all over the sheets in the morning but ironically not always transferring or easy to take off. Oh and the process to put on takes a while too. Spread, bake, blend, bake, set. Took about a half hour and some help. It did what I needed it to do for the wedding, spots didn’t totally disappear, even with their stick concealer BUT you couldn’t see them outright so I guess it did its job. Will I use it again, yea but only for something as important as this and not for an average event. Totally not worth the hassle.

I have had increasingly spread spider veins since I was a teenager. I have always been self-conscious about them, not even wearing shorts or any skirts or dresses that weren’t maxi for the past several years (I’m 51.) This product has been a game changer for me!! I am so very grateful. Wearing shorts today! It doesn’t cover completely (perhaps it would if I layered,) but it blends in so naturally and mutes even the darkest, most purple of my spider veins clusters. I will buy this product over and over again. I didn’t want to spend so much on the setting powder so I use an inexpensive (elf or nyx) makeup setting spray (or a random Revlon setting powder) and it works great! It does transfer when wet to the inside of my shorts, but once dry, it doesn’t transfer to the car seat or furniture, not even a white couch. Life changer for me.

This is great stuff, I take blood thinners and I bruise so this covered all the bruises on my legs and actually a couple of sores. I had also that when I ran into a bedframe. I could not have worn shorts this summer with a bruising I had this made it possible. I love it.

Just ok. Doesn’t cover super dark or vibrant tattoos well if you have pale skin. Got the lightest shade (I think) and it’s still too peach-y/orange. Can still see the outlines of my tattoos, and it’s obvious I have makeup on, but probably passable enough from far away. Tried neutralizing the colors first with orange and green color correctors, and tried a few different application styles (fingers, thin vs thicker layers, tapping in lightly with a makeup sponge), and the results are pretty much the same. Would probably work better for smaller (fine line) and more faded tattoos than mine. Unfortunately can’t afford laser removal anytime soon, so this was disappointing for the price point, but not the worst. Both tattoos are a little over a year or two old. Love all my leg tattoos; these arm ones, not so much.

It covers the marks on my legs well,it gives a smooth,tan finish. Without it i won't be able to wear short dresses . It covered the imperfection on my legs. It is thick, spreadable, not watery thin. It needs a little time to dry out or it can stain (the bedsheet where I sat) . There is a powder to set it off, but becauseit is expensive so I skip this step. The finish is smooth, i feel confident when wearing it. It lasts for few days. I could shower,but no soap on where it is on. It is my savour, this is my second tube, I highly recommend it

SO. I have this tattoo on my chest, and it’s kinda big( shown in pic) I have weddings to go to this summer and my family at the weddings are pretty conservative, and I don’t wanna come off as ‘scandalous’ to the bride and the groom since yknow it’s their big day. Now I could get a high neck dress to cover it, but after much online shopping I’ve realized that for some reason CUTE, high neck dresses are really hard to come by and for some reason are more expensive. SO I bought a bunch of makeup to try to cover up the tattoo. I got a primer to make the makeup application process easier, an orange color corrector to even out of the blueish black color of the tat, this dermablend foundation and a dermablend translucent setting powder. Here is what I discovered with using it: The color matched well, but I had to apply the foundation about ten times for the tattoo to be fully covered, using setting powder after each layer. Because of so many layers being applied, the makeup started to separate which looked really weird, kind of like eraser shavings off a pencil rubber? Looks better in photos but in real life it doesn’t look that great( shown in pic) AND even after a lot of setting powder and setting spray it very much got on my clothes. OVERALL I think this stuff would work well for smaller tats and ones that might not get on clothing. however for myself, the process for this took forever and the results didn’t seem worth it. Guess I’ll have to get a dress.

Best save my sommer from spots i could wear dresses and skirts

This is the best leg make I’ve used. I’ve have tried lots of different ones. This is fantastic. Great coverage and very natural looking. Would definitely recommend it 10/10

This product is incredible and lasts a long time. I had my bottle for years because you obviously don’t apply it daily and a little goes a long, long way. If you want to look like you’ve got the most flawless skin on your legs- get it! It also doesn’t really need the setting powder it’ll still stay on. It only comes off with scrubbing. It won’t go weird in water it’s amazing BUT it does not cover tattoos at all! But amazing otherwise xxx
