How did I live without these before?!
Iโm honestly obsessed with these Mora Ceramic Large Mixing Bowls. The set of two (2.5 Qt and 1.6 Qt) is the perfect size combo for almost everything I do in the kitchen. These bowls are huge compared to regular mixing bowls, which makes them incredibly useful. I use the big one for big batches of salad, popcorn for movie nights, marinating meats, mixing cake batter, and even serving. The smaller one is great for smaller tasks or as a prep bowl. What I love: Beautiful matte white finish that looks clean and modern Very sturdy and heavy, they feel high quality Nest together perfectly for easy storage Microwave, oven, and dishwasher safe Non-slip base so they stay put while mixing Theyโve genuinely made cooking and prepping so much easier. I find myself reaching for them multiple times a day, popcorn, salad etc. If youโre thinking about getting them, just do it youโll wonder how you ever managed without them too!

Big, sturdy bowls that are great for sourdough and everyday prep
I needed a set of larger mixing bowls, and these ended up being exactly what I was looking for. The grey color has a clean, simple look that fits well in the kitchen without standing out too much, and the material is a solid stoneware ceramic that feels durable right away. The depth is also really helpful, especially when mixing dough, since it keeps everything contained instead of spilling over the sides. The size is honestly the biggest win here. The larger bowl is great for mixing sourdough and bigger batches of dough, and Iโve also used it for things like salads, popcorn, and general food prep. The smaller one is still very roomy and works well when I donโt need something quite as big. They nest together nicely, so storage is simple even though they are large. In everyday use, they feel sturdy and stable on the counter, which helps a lot when working with heavier doughs. I use them quite a bit for sourdough and they handle that type of mixing really well. They are easy to handle even when full and feel well balanced for their size. Cleaning has been easy so far, especially since I wash them by hand. One thing I noticed is that they can get pretty slippery when wet and soapy, so I have to be careful when rinsing them in the sink to make sure I donโt drop them. Thatโs just something to be aware of with smooth ceramic like this. Iโve also used them in the microwave without any issues, which adds convenience when prepping or reheating. One thing I did notice is that my metal dough whisk left some light gray marks on the inside of the bowl from contact with the ceramic surface. It is only visual and doesnโt affect how the bowl works at all, but it is something to be aware of if you use metal utensils often. For value for the money, I think they make sense if you actually need larger bowls. They feel durable, versatile, and useful for both cooking and serving, not just basic mixing. Overall, Iโve been really happy with them. The grey color, stoneware material, depth, and size all make them very practical for sourdough and general kitchen prep.

These bowls are both attractive and easy to use
These attractive, well made ceramic bowls can be used in the oven and microwave. The insides of the bowls are smooth and are dishwasher safe. They nest for storing. I purchased a set for my daughter and, after seeing them, plan to buy a set for myself.

Fantastic Bread making Bowls
These Mora mixing bowls are a must for bread makers. There is a 5.5 and 3.6 qt. Well made and very stylish looking. They have nice weight, but not too heavy for seniors.

Finally found what Iโm looking for.
Iโm slowly switching everything over to Mora ceramics. I love the design. Even with a kid who does dishes pretty roughly, they have not broken. A few times I fully expected to find cracks in it or a sink full of pieces, but itโs still in perfect shape. We have the dinner and dessert plates, large and small bowls, and recently were able to get the lasagna pans and these serving bowls, all 4 sizes. The white ones remind me of vanilla bean ice cream. Makes me happy. And weโve always gotten compliments on them. They do fine in the dishwasher and while scratches do show up, itโs not so deep that you canโt clean the scratches off with a little elbow grease. I love that Mora ceramics can go in the oven. I donโt like using a microwave so being able to have everyone dish ip leftovers and toss them in the oven, or put a bowl of bread rolls in the oven to warm up, is amazing.

A small price to pay for such quality ceramic coated bowls.
These are beautiful bowls. I ordered them primarily for making pizza dough and sourdough. Mora's nice touch to service and information can't be beat. The quality of the ceramic coating is a sight to behold actually. I have used them now for many months making a lot of pizza dough, bread dough and sourdough. I just love them. They are also great as serving bowls when you need something nicer than the usual stainless steel bowl. The rim ceramic is perfect and it's so easy to get an air tight seal with plastic wrap for preferment proofing / poolish and for bulk fermenting. You just can't go wrong here. You get what you pay for. Any review other than 5 stars just won't do them justice.

Gorgeous bowls!
These are beautiful bowls! They are large, just like I needed, and not too heavy for their size. Very good quality. I thought the bottom was an exposed clay, but I think they're actually glazed porcelain, so there's no porosity for germs. They wash up beautifully in the dishwasher, and were packed with great care for shipping. I will be getting more Mora dishes!

As a bread kneading bowls they are great (the larger set option for $137)
They are thin but good weight bowls for kneading dough (which is my purpose for these). They are nice bowls. I thought the rim might be too thin - but actually I held it with ease while kneading with my other hand. Washed easily. Only a bit more expensive than comparable brands. Interestingly you can also play them as singing bowls. That is an unexpected bonus.
