ABC for Book Collectors

This book was recommended to me and I now would also recommend it. It is easy to read. Has a bit of history in it but is very informative in regards to collecting books. If you are looking for something that is packed with info on books, this is the one to get. It is not huge, so you can also carry it with you easily in a purse or backpack for reference.

Well organized and very informative. I use this book, along with a few others in the same genre, to help me list and describe all of the books in my collection (just under 1000 titles). If you plan to sell your books, then this book will help you accurately describe the books condition, edition, printing, etc. to potential buyers.

A great read from Oak Knoll Press. Lots of information for anyone interested in book collecting and an important guide for the novice. I enjoyed reading this book about books!

Very informative, well written, witty and interesting. A good read for a reference book. Lack of an index keeps it from being a great book.

In the short span that I have owned this book it has already proved its self to be indispensable. No ordinary dictionary of terms, it goes into detail when needed with some facinating and sometimes funny anecdotes.
