Alpicool P18 Portable Fridge 12 Volt Car Refrigerator 19 Quart Freezer for Fishing, Camping, RV, Truck, Boat-12/24V DC

I wasn't 100% sure how this electric cooler would work but it sure didn't let me down. I have a slightly larger cooler from BougeRV and it freezes and cools perfectly. This one takes up much less space and holds 6, 16oz drinks and on top of the drinks there's more room for some food and/or cold snacks. It also has a little ledge next to the deep storage area and over the compressor, for some smaller sized snacks. The handle makes it supper easy to carry around, even when it's loaded with drinks and food, it was a perfect addition to the cooler construction, as some don't have it. When you close the lid it seems to seal as it should. We'll see if the seal holds up, as there's really not too much there as it relates to the rubber seal and the closing latch. I used it right away on a 30 hour driving trip (each way), and it worked flawlessly. You'll have to get accustomed to the cold adjustment you want, as it relates to what you need to set it on. For example, my BougeRV cooler, sets on 34 for ice cold drinks. This cooler keeps them just as cold set on 36-37. All in all, great buy!

It works very well and is pretty quiet. It does have a very high frequency noise when the compressor is running which is not very often once it's cooled down. With the cooler in a cabinet behind me I cannot hear it but I do hear it if I'm sitting right next to it. UPDATE: Stopped working after about 12 months only used it a handful of times no warranty no product support.

We have been looking for a compressor fridge with a full handle for awhile, and finally we have one! This is a perfect size for a 1-3 day getaway, and the built in battery function will save the day when you forget to plug in. Battery isn't included, but the Euhomy battery works great. I highly recommend this fridge for your short trips. And with the full handle, you have your other hand free when checking into hotels. Another thing not mentioned is that it works with the Aplicool app... using Bluetooth, you can turn on/off and change fridge temps. When I ordered this fridge, the handle was shattered in transit, and Amazon accepted the return and sent a replacement that day. Awesome customer service!

Love the form factor. Can hold a wine bottle upright and really fits a ton of food, while fitting in a weird space behind my seat. However, when it's loaded full the bottom is colder than the top - things on the bottom might freeze while the top is refrigerated. I treat that as a feature not a bug, as I now put meat in the bottom to keep it lightly frozen. But you have to manage it.

Worked great for entire camping trip off grid (3 full days) on battery. Returned coleman thermoelectric cooler for this and very glad I did. Shows voltage from battery and keeps stable Temps even in eco mode (35w). Great insulation so despite 90-100 degree highs, it was off more than it was on. It is also so quiet I could hardly hear it when compressor was running. It seems solid, well built. It also fits easily in the space we have in our camper. We highly recommend this brand/product.

Working as advertised / expected. No noise, keeps everything within 5 degrees or so of set temp. Lightweight and very portable. I also have the 50L one and keep it in my truck bed for grocery day and road trips. I have a 12V cord run to my truck bed. After over 2 years both still going strong, my P18 runs 24/7 365 on the floor of my back seat set to between 45 and 50.

After spending $279 on Amazon, I expected this to last a little while. But the thermostat has completely stopped working in less than 6 months. Now it will only cool down to 30-40 degrees. I am not rich. This was a waste of a lot of money. Alpicool is impossible to reach. Their US phone number no longer works. And many of my emails that I have tried to send to resolve this issue just disappear off of my Gmail account. The internet says there are blocks between Gmail and Chinese email addresses. Do not buy an Alpicool product and if you must buy one, do not buy through AMAZON. You need to have a customer support team that will stand behind these products.

I bought this to use between the seats in my campervan since the van has no center console. I had a larger fridge but it took up considerable floor space and I decided to see if I can manage with something smaller. I haven't used it in the van yet, but tried it out in the house and it works great. It's heavier than I thought it would be but that's not a bad thing, just an observation. I looked at many others and decided on this brand and model because of the size and especially the height because it will fit my available space.
