Works with any coffee
I love them! Would recommend these because you can make sun tea or cold brew coffee easily in any pitcher. So convenient. I used 1/2 cup of fine ground coffee and it made 1 gallon of strong cold brew with no sediment or leakage in the pitcher at all. Sturdy little bags that don’t tear easily like some brands. Absolutely perfect.I bought these instead of a cold brew pitcher, because those require special course ground coffee specifically for cold brew. Way too expensive and wasteful INHO.Definitely worth the money.

Changed my life
OK, this didn't change my actual life but it sure has make cold brewing a whole lot easier. The bags work well, they are sturdy and don't break.I brew my coffee in a 1/2 gallon Mason Jar. First I lower the bag into the jar wide open and, keeping the bag wide open, fold top 1/2 inch over the mouth of the jar. Then I fill the bag with 3/4 cups of fine ground coffee. I add water to almost the top in stages, stirring the grounds into the water at each stage. When filled, I use the string to close the bag, and then I screw on the lid keeping the top of the bag secured by the lid. I leave it to brew 12-24 hours and when done, I can just toss the bag and grounds, no muss no fuss.

~* SURPASSED EVERY EXPECTATION *~
I had high expectations but didn't anticipate any miracles; I was ecstatically proven wrong because THESE ARE AMAZING!!!!!! I love cold brew, but the premade pouches are expensive and I only found 1 single brand of pouches that never disintegrated... where as the numerous other brands had varying degrees of disintegration. Let me tell you, trying to sift grounds out of your coffee is frustrating and kudos to those who have the time and especially patience to filter with cheesecloth, but for me, it ain't happening. These pouches are simple and easy to use... just cinch closed and loop around a few times beneath the top where it's cinched, pull the string through one of the loops, leave a little length of string to close in the lid and voila, totally secure. It's a HUGE benefit to be able to switch flavors and varieties of grounds without having to spend a small fortune. Plus, the weave is tight so it's not necessary to have your beans coarse ground in order for them not to seep out. The bags have no scent, don't leave any type of flavor, and DO NOT DISINTEGRATE!!!I've converted my entire family into making their own cold brew at home using these bags... even those who loathe iced coffee. The smooth, rich flavor, completely free of acidity (which comes from brewing coffee with heat)... cold brew is heavenly!!! And it feels like a lavish luxury but with these bags it's no more expensive than brewing a pot using filters and definitely not as pricey as those individual little cups. I'd recommend these specific bags a million times over!!!*If this review was informative please hit the helpful button below.

Really Good Quality
These work extremely well and are extremely durable. I thought they might break easily, but they’re very strong. The strings on the top tie the bags very tightly so they don’t open or leak grounds into the water. They filter very well too. You can squeeze them very hard to get all the water out when you’re done brewing and they won’t break or leak grounds. They’re very good quality for the price and come in a ziplock bag to store them. They float to the top so they’re very easy to remove, but make sure you fill your water to the top of your container. I do recommend you pour water over the grounds in the bag before sealing to saturate the coffee grounds. If you don’t, it may take a while for the water to permeate all the grounds and you’re losing extraction time.

Great timesaver and less mess for making cold brew coffee
I started making cold brew coffee awhile back. Dealing with used coffee grounds was messy before I found these bags. I compost my grounds and these make it simple.

These Are Awesome.
First I used them for the Cold Brew Coffee Maker that I bought them with and for. I like using pre-ground Dunkin Original Blend coffee and in my previous Cold Brewer, (it was too small), using just the fine mesh filter with that coffee allowed some sludge to get into the liquid. I'm guessing that the grind was too fine for the fine mesh filter.Upgrading too a 1 gallon Cold Brewer, I thought of the coffee bags they had at some motels on a recent trip.Like tea bags but with coffee in them. I search for that and found these fill them yourself bags. I use about 2 cups of ground coffee, (same kind), for 1 gallon of cold brew. Each of these holds about 1 cup.Perfect. Fill three. Tie them off with the draw-string closure. Place those inside the fine mesh filter let it steep in the refrigerator and done. Awesome cold brew. With no sludge. Added bonus? Pull the three bags out of the fine mesh filter and dispose of them and rinse your fine mesh filter. No more loose grounds going down the sink drain while trying to get them all out of the fine mesh tube. Forget about all that mess. These bags are durable.Recently, I tried boiling pasta in them. They stand up to twelve minutes of rolling boil with no problem.Thing was, I found myself without a drainer and wondered how I would drain the pasta after I cook it. I thought of these. When the pasta is done pull the bag out using the convenient draw-strings closure, (over the sink, of course), give it a few shakes and it's drained. Also, the pasta does not stick to the pan.I really like the way all different shapes of pasta come out using these. I have not tried any long pastas. You'd have to break them to fit, but shells, ziti, spirals, twists, tubes, etc. All good.Hope that helps.
