The lamp arrived unharmed and heavily wrapped to prevent damage. I really like the design and it puts out a decent amount of light. I keep the lamp on a beside and I plan to get another one to match. The lamp is a bit too bright for reading, but it definitely lights up a room. outside of the lamp is a thick plastic, but I don't think it looks cheap.

This review is for the cube lamp. As at least one other reviewer has noted, the hole for inserting the light bulb is tiny. A standard e27 won't fit. Okay, wasted money on that bulb. Next, I bought a skinny bulb. Great! That fit through the hole--but it's too tall. The top of the bulb presses against the top of the cube. So, two light bulbs in and I still don't have a functioning lamp.The instructions don't provide any additional guidance on selecting a bulb, so I'm stuck trial-and-erroring until I find one.Finally, to reflect another's comment, it's just a dinky block of wood with a socket screwed on.Anyway, not worth the price and headache.

These are very nice. Light switch feels sturdy. Looks great. Nice and bright, but the light is dispersed so easy on the eyes. 10/10.

This is exactly what I was looking for my boat’s cabin. It’s very good looking and sturdy. It looks great, it is compact, modern and perfect amount of light.

I love the look of this lamp (its the cube shaped one) so I’m not going to return it but the glass shade’s opening is too small for a standard size light blub. I also tried using the high efficency type bulbs because they are shaped more like a cylinder and all but 1 bulb was too tall and kept the lamp shade from being anywhere near flush with the base. I finally found a high efficiency bulb in one of my fans that was the stubbiest blub I’ve seen and that still isn’t short enough but it is very close so I’m using that until I get to the store to look for an even smaller bulb. As it is, the top of the bulb is in direct contact with the top of the shade and it’s not totally flush against the wood base but it’s not noticeable so it’s okay for now. Given the price, if I knew this before I purchased it, I would have looked elsewhere.

so dope for the price! I bought two and placed them on my nightstands. really brings the room together and the lighting makes my bedroom cozy.

Tiny opening, how to remove my philips’ hue top plastic part to fit it in, and i can’t figure out how the metal pins are supposed to hold the top part down.

I'm not sure how the other reviews manage to get a bulb (standard size diameter socket, but narrow, narrow opening on the bottom of the glass shade) to work easily with this. A standard bulb will fit into the socket but then you can't put the shade onto it. I got one of the narrow flame shape chandelier bulbs with a standard screw in base. That's too tall.. you can fit the shade over it but then the top of the shade is resting on the top of the bulb even with the metal paperclip type brads pushed up as far as I could get them. Buy something else. Definitely don't recommend this lamp.

I haven’t dealt with taking the glass part of and switching the bulb, so far this thing is an awesome dresser lamp.

The product came with a small led bulb, otherwise it might be a bit tough to find one small enough to fit. There are a lot of small bulbs designed for appliances (i.e. oven) i think will fit this. Its a beautiful lamp, and cheap! My only issue was the glass part is hard to install.

The only part I didn’t like was that you have to have strong fingers to fit the shade on the base other than that it’s a great small light. I have a lot of light oak s9 it blends in well and the price is fair

From other purchasers' comments, it seems there are different variants of this, and you take pot luck. The first picture shows the cubic shade resting flush onto the base. Others show a gap. Another picture shows a circular recess in the base to accommodate the slightly proud rim of the shade aperture. Mine didn't have this, nor the metallic mounting plate within it. It is slightly fiddly to insert the clips into the shade aperture. But without the recess in the base, the shade can't then sit flush, and you have to slide it around until it's central. An indication of "quality" was that the centre hole through the base for mounting the LED holder wasn't central, but offset, maybe by a centimeter. On the shelf it looks nice enough, though, and I suppose that's what counts.
