I love these pellets. They work great and expand quite a bit. It makes it a lot easier to plant without the mess. I used them to plant seeds, mostly exotic. I have some with a germination rate of up to 8 months. Those seedlings are now 2" high, within just 1-2 months. I'd recommend this product

Purchased these pucks to plants my flower and garden seeds in. When I first received the box I didn’t believe that it held 100 pucks but I was wrong. The amount of soil you get once you soak them in water is amazing! Found the easiest way to get the soil to loosen up was to put 10-15 pucks in a bucket fill it’s about a quarter way full of water. The pucks soak up the water fast and become manageable soil. Great price for the amount of quality soil you get.

I ordered these because my last batch of peat pots wouldn't rehydrate properly. I should have read the description more closely. These are unnetted and explode quickly into a pile of loose material. I'll use these to fill cell pot flats, but they are useless in place of peat pots.If I wanted loose coco cior, I would have bought it cheaper in a single brick.

I opened the box, counted to verify that 100 pcs were sent (all were accounted for).I noticed there are some size differences between the individual pieces, with that said, they all expanded quite well, at least four to five times it's original size. I would definitely buy again!From my personal research before purchasing this product and what I've read from different sites and other products mentioned on Amazon: USE warm water or hot tap water!
