I’m a soap maker and this is the first lye I’ve ever used in 6 years that is so dusty that I had to buy a protective respirator mask to even use it. Won’t purchase this brand again.

⭐⭐☆☆☆There's nothing wrong with the product itself—it's the same Red Hot Devil lye I've used for making soap, and it works exactly as expected.The reason I'm only giving it 2 stars is because I thought buying in bulk would save me money, but after comparing prices, I found it's actually cheaper for me to buy it locally at Ace Hardware using their $5 coupons. On top of that, the shipping took longer than I expected and almost caused me to miss a soap-making batch.If the price were more competitive and the shipping faster, I'd consider buying it again. For me, though, buying locally is the better value.
