Why does my toilet have a high pitched squeal after installing this product?

They sometimes make a squeal as the valve is closing...should only last a few seconds. If it lasts longer than a few seconds, the valve is not fully closing. It needs to be adjusted with the plastic screw.

Can this Danco 80008 fill valve be used for swimming pool water level control?

Thank you for your interest in Danco products and for your inquiry. Danco model number 80008 has not been designed or tested for use in the manner that you have suggested. Therefore, we cannot ensure the safety, integrity, or performance of our product.

Can I set the water level to 4 inches. Over flow is at 5 inches

The water level is adjusted by screwing in or out the spring loaded adjustment screw.

Why does this exlude the one piece Low-boy toilets? I would think this being a perfect filler for the low-boy style.

Thank you for your interest in Danco products and for your inquiry. According to our engineering department, our 80008 is not compatible with most one piece low-boy toilet models for reasons depending on the specific toilet model.
