TL:DR They arrived quickly. They arrived today. I used one. It did the job but it was slow.I had a 5 gallon container of rhubarb and ginger and it was time to take the wine off the lees prior to bottling. However when I set up to start I found that my syphon tubing had mould in it that was too far down to get at so I needed a replacement. The local WILKO has shut down and so have the two home brew shops I used to order from so I turned to Amazon.I bought these because they were cheap, there are two of them and they were delivered the next day. They did the job but they are not ideal.On the negative side the tube diameter is small.One effect of this is that the equipment I already have - taps and so forth - will not fit. I thought this would be a major problem for me because it is not the way I am used to doing things, I like to turn off the tap before swapping bottles when I am working because I think this minimises disturbance to the gunge at the bottom, but it did not prove to be the case.Another effect of the small diameter tubing is that the wine flowed much more slowly than I am used to so the job took much longer.On the plus side the little pump thing works like a charm and, as you can see from the photo, it sits well in the top of a demijohn.The small diameter tubing and the slow flow may have a benefit in that it may be less prone to sucking up the hazy sediment I sometimes get, this wine had been settling since 2019 so the sediment was pretty solid hence I did not get chance to decide whether this was the case.

Takes ages to siphon a single keg. Pipes are far too thin in diameter to have any practical use. Might be useful for emptying egg-cups, but beyond that, waste of time
