Honey Lake 8 Frame Beehive Starter Kit – Beeswax Coated Deep Beehive Box with Frames, Complete Beekeeping Kit for Beginners with Bee Smoker, Hive Tools, Brush, Gloves & Veil Hat

Very surprised!!!! The craftsmanship and wax coating is amazing!!! Didn’t need all the extras that came with the box and frames but it was the same price. Great value. If you’re just starting up jump on this deal.

Arrived quickly, great quality and value!

This is a very nice starter hive, all parts were great quality for the $$. (The frames although unassembled are made from basic pine/fur and well cut, good quality they assembled well, no splitting when nailed.) two thumbs up! I purchased for the hive, and haven't yet used any of the accessories, like other reviewers, I sort of figured those were trow in items, but everything looks decent! Nicely waxed wood and shipped fast!

Impressed with the quality of this box. The only thing you have to assemble is the frames. For this you need a hammer and wood glue, it comes with the nails. Everything also comes coated in beeswax, except for the frame components (the plastic inserts are coated well though). The accessories it includes are practically freebies and all of them seem to be decent quality. The hat and veil were packed in a way that didn't squish or wrinkle and the gloves appear to be actual leather (or some dang good pleather) with canvas sleeves. You get a lot of bang for your buck with this kit and I would definitely recommend it.

Very nice and pretty much everything a person needs to start a hive.

Complete set includes brood box queen screen easy to put together and came with everything that you need to harvest honey. It’s very good deal

This was my first hive box and it has served well all summer. No complaints and would buy again but with additional boxes. Also remember to add more beeswax to the foundation. The bees need more than what most foundation comes with to prevent wonky comb. If you are just getting started, go BIGGER. You WILL need more than one box!

Nice box and built well The kit includes what you need . But damaged on 3 corners of the lid ! I will keep it because it's still usable . Piss poor packaging . It it weren't for the damage I'd gave it 5 stars.

Good build quality, screwed dovetails rather than box joints and everything is well coated with wax.

Il manque 4 cadres sur 8 ainsi que le balai mais la quantité des outils est excellente et de la ruche. Une amélioration àa apporter de donner plus instruction

Opened the box and top of the bee box is broken.

Box is falling apart after about 3 months. Seams are splitting. Wax is fading off. It wasn't in full sun. I wouldn't recommend this product
