I first became aware of fractals when the topic was highlighted In a PBS special presentation many years ago. So interesting and such an intrigue. Fractals developed when a fanciful and creative idea was pursued to feed information in the form of mathematical equations to computer systems to not only calculate data to fathom infinity but to seek it's illustrated counterpart. What resulted were seemingly endless arrays of intricate designs that would continuously repeat. The unexpected art forms produced were both surprising with almost unreal drama but somewhat archaic at the same time with primitive organic reflections of the natural world near and far, and that which exists still as ancient and timeless. I never get tired of the different patterned images that are conjured as such. But observing them always brings on the heavy thought to ponder that the fractal images are not just astounding artwork because they are not the creation of mankind. This is simply using the techniques of human mathematical science to open the door to dimensions that have been beyond our fathoming and with that peek, realizing that there is so very much more to know. But if those thoughts overwhelm and terrify you, then simply enjoy the unique beauty of the images. I have by habit purchased the Fractals calendar by Alice Kelley. She has always presented a wonderful selection of fractal images for her yearly calendar. A lovely timeless infinite presence that ironically counts out the finite days of the year in our life in the form of a calendar.

Alice Kelley calendars are my favorites! 2023 did not disappoint either!

Love these calendars...they are so different and so very interesting...you never know what you are going to see from month to month....they are always something new. Since I found these calendars from Alice Kelley I have not bought anything else.

Disappointed - have been buying this calendar the last 3-4 years and it’s always been new designs. The 2023 has the exact designs for the same months as it did in 2022. I returned it. Otherwise it’s cool if u didn’t own the 2022 one. Good quality , beautiful color , strong pages.

Anyone who likes universal color patterns will like fractal cosmos.
