Excellent for semi-hydro growing.
Almost all of my 50+ houseplants are growing in semi-hydro and these pots are perfect. I have 3 drama queen diva Alocacias that are still in soil but I'm transitioning them to Pon. I'm betting that they will start behaving themselves when they are put in these pots. Note: read the enclosed pamphlet. You'll be glad you did.

Plastic—and look like it
The description clearly says plastic, so it’s my fault that I missed that. The color is so nice. There are a variety of sizes, tho’ several of them are too big for me to use. Would I keep them if they were ceramic? Yes. The pale green is really appealing. I like the idea that there are “wicks“ to keep an excess of water out of the soil, and the tab that can be slid open or closed is an interesting addition. I just don’t want plastic. So I will return these.

Exactly what I was looking for.
These are perfect for a few little houseplants I wanted to try out around my house. The price is amazing for the quality. I expected them to be thin for the price but I was pleasantly surprised. I'm also not sure why people are saying the bottom comes off easily because if you twist them, they lock into place.
