Great product and great support
I use this for electronics repair. It works very well for that. Screen is large and easy to view. I don’t record video but it has that option, and from my tests, the video quality is very good.A screw broke during shipping and the company went above and beyond to correct the issue. Very happy with my purchase.

Great microscope for a good price.
I bought this microscope to assemble circuit boards for electronics work. The microscope was easy to assemble, easy to operate and works great. There two adjustable spot lights that put the light right where it's needed when working close up on objects. Both the position of the light and the intensity of the light is adjustable, making it easy to get the brightness on the LCD screen just right. There is a HDMI plug that can be connected to a large LCD display, but the built-in LCD is big enough to easily see anything you are working on. If you have limited bench top space, the built-in LCD display is all that is needed.Overall, this is a very good product for an excellent price and it costs FAR less than digital microscopes you find from industrial suppliers.

Get Newest User Manual
This is my initial impression and out of the box experience. The user manual was out of date, customer support sent a version 2 which included a figure on using the correct configuration of PC Camera mode (snap a pic or video from the PC rather than the device).Case UseApplication: coin collection with photographic documentation, biological specimens occasionallyCONs & CaveatsHDMI - no simultaneously synched display - it's an either/or display - microscope and possibly computer screen (didn't get it to work). If you want both on get the 7 inch model.WIFI - Firmware has option to turn on wifi, absolutely no documentation or use scenario.Firmware begs more ease of use tweaks. Has a media player, but file management is weak until you disconnect screen and use the USB-C cable to browse the microSD card.ProsScreen - good resolution, I liked the resolution and size with 22MP cameraGood fit and finish.MicroSD 32GB card (supplied)

Quality product!
This is an amazing digital microscope, made with quality parts. I found it very easy to put together, and everything worked right out of the box. Whether you're a novice, or professional, this will get the job done. It comes with three different lenses for different magnifications, SD card, and power supply to power it. Display is crystal clear for viewing, and you can interface it to your laptop or desktop computer, as well as an HDMI monitor. It even gives you a link to a software program that you can run on your computer called Microscope Measure, a very valuable program to have for whatever you're viewing. I would definitely recommend this to anyone that's interested in a digital microscope!

Exceptional value for the money with many features
I was seriously looking to purchase a different brand scope when I read the negative reviews (which weren't very many) and one reviewer said that it was not as good as the Andonstar he had. That made me look at the Andonstar units, and I wound up purchasing the Andonstar AD249S-M 10.1 Inch HDMI Digital Microscope. To be honest, I was fully expecting that I would be returning this after I received it, figuring it would not be of very high quality simply based on it's price (under $200.00). Boy was I in for a surprise! The scope came in a very sturdy box and inside, there were foam inserts fitting the various pieces so that each piece was well protected. The various lenses were wrapped in plastic and shipped inside clear-plastic cases for extra protection. Everything was in form-fitting foam so each piece was in sterling condition upon receipt!!!Inside the package were two printed items: an actual printed User Manual and a large (16" x 11") color assembly sheet. Assembly was ultra easy and took me about 15 minutes as I was taking it slow to ensure I didn't damage anything. There is even a small zip-lock bag containing a few extra hardware bits! Very nice indeed. After I assembled the unit, I found that the main column (vertical post) was ever-so-slightly tilted forward, so I got a #12 metric wrench from my toolbox to loosen the positioning bolt at the base, leveled the post and tightened it.In addition, the following items are included: Three lenses, remote controller, dimmer cable, HDMI cable for connecting the scope to an "external" monitor, USB cable, slide holder with LED light, several slides, a pair of plastic tweezers and a "bug box". The latter three items are included for kids. This particular seller included a 32 GB microSD card, which was a welcomed & surprise addition. The user manual included two QR codes, one for a product installation assistance, and the 2nd for choosing the different lenses. In addition, the manual had nice line drawings of the monitor/lens and the assembled base with the boom controls. The quick start portion of the manual includes sections on How to Choose Lens which steps you through the process of actually using the three different lenses; how to use the digital zoom, how to save files to the microSD card, recording videos & taking photos; details about the remote controller; and how to output to external devices. Even though there is some pidgen English, the manual is clear enough to be useful. My main complaints about the manual is not the pidgen English but rather the ultra small size of some of the type. Fortunately you can use the microscope to see some of that ultra-small type! (First photo)The parts included the main cord & AC adapter for powering the scope and the two LED lights on the flexible shafts, an HDMI cable in case you want to use a larger monitor screen.Usage is quite simple: you adjust the microscope+monitor height above the base platform and lock it on the column, then use the turn dial built into the microscope to fine tune the scope. The photos show (1) the monitor display of the User Manual type on one of the pages, showing how crystal clear it is; and (2) the monitor showing an electronics part as would be seen while doing soldering work on the part. Again the monitor is crystal clear. The monitor & lens are also very stable on the column and there is no "play" using the dials to raise and lower the lens for focusing.All-in-all, this digital microscope performs exceptionally well. The fit & finish of the parts is solid and stable, which is needed for microscopic work. That you can video output to a larger HDMI monitor is a very valuable feature, especially for demonstrations in, for example, a classroom. And being able to take videos and still photographs and save them to microSD card is also a very valuable feature. Exceptional value for the money!!!And the reviewer of the other microscope who said that his Andonstar microscope was superior was spot on! I am keeping this unit!!!

Excellent Product
High quality, very easy to use, appropriate packaging for shipping and storage between uses. The only thing that I would have liked included would be blank observation slides. 5 slides are included, but each has a specimen. That said, it doesn’t make me any less satisfied with the product, and I purchased the needed slides separately. The 3x digital zoom is helpful, and the buttons below the display allow you to review images and video directly from the built in display. It did come with a 32GB Micro-SD card (despite the manual indicating otherwise), so that was nice!Overall. I am completely happy with this purchase. I was able to easily observe the specimen and record them with high frame rate/resolution video and imagery without any eye strain.

Replacement easy and works fine
The original item had a non-working Menu button. I returned and asked for a replacement. Although I have not yet been credited with the value of the original, the replacement came and worked well. The sharpness of the lenses is very professional, and the quality is great. I look forward to receiving my credit
