Fashion, comfort, style, and bargain!
I think this is the first time I have completed a product review, but I read them often so I thought I should contribute. These shoes are wonderful quality, as expected. They are canvas so slightly stiff at first - also as expected. After wearing them for three hours around the house they were nearly perfectly broken in. The sole is solid, and I sprayed with them fabric protector to ensure the dirt could be easily removed. I did not expect these shoes to have excellent arch support, and they do not. I would call it medium support. Some people have indicated that they use inserts, which may be a good idea if you plan to walk in them a great deal, but I consider these more for casual fashion and not significant walking. I bought some no-show ballet flat shoe liners (by Keds, also on Amazon) with a silicon heel which work beautifully. I saw some reviews that said the fabric on these shoes seemed washed out, but that is not at all what I received. They are exactly as pictured and were in excellent condition when they arrived. Quite the value!

Better than previous sperrys I had--overall satisfied!
I had a pair of Sperrys before, but I didn't like them as much because they were hard to break in, hurt my heels, and I didn't particularly like the style. When I went looking for new boat shoes, I saw Sperry had some new women's styles, and I thought I would give these a shot. They are comfy, they were easier to break in, although it took a while for the laces to loosen up and stay in place. My only complaint is that the lining on the top of the insert was not glued on very well so they slide around if I don't wear socks, but overall I am satisfied with the purchase. I think I may switch out the inserts anyways for other inserts, or could just take the top liner off them.

A little stiff
Stiff at first, canvas took a few days to break in. Definitely not a good shoe if you have wide feet (canvas doesn't stretch like the main Angelfish/Bluefish line does). I receive plenty of compliments everytime I wear these from guys and girls alike; the colour is a very nice sunwashed red, a little pink but in a color you'd find among the layers of the Grand Canyon. Leather stays tied, which is nice, and really the only issue I had with these is they were a little tight on my wide feet. Otherwise they were great, and should hug your feet comfortably.

Not quite what I expected
They are okay but the fit is somewhat narrower. I checked somewhat small, but really that is inaccurate as the length is actually fine, or a bit longer than necessary, while the width is narrower than would be expected. I had to let the laces way out to get them on and it makes the shoe look a bit odd. Also they were advertised as White/Navy but the blue is more of a faded denim color, navyish, but not the crisp navy and white I was looking for. I haven't walked in them enough to judge comfort but expect that they will live up to Sperry comfort levels. These were a good price so I still feel that I got a bargain, but can't help feeling a bit disappointed.

Brilliant
Love these shoes. Bought them as a replacement for an old pair I'd worn for 5 years. Had to replace the last pair because I wore a hole through the side. Now after 5 years, that's understandable, but it's because the shoe is quite narrow at the front. I don't have wide feet, but I do have a bump after my pinky toe. This is where the wearing occurred. Won't stop me from wearing them almost daily and replacing them every half-decade!

Pretty sure I was sent FAKE Sperry knockoffs....
A purchased my 4th pair of Sperry Topsiders on Amazon after years of good experiences with their shoes. However, this time I think that I got a dud. The Sperry's I got LOOKED authentic at first glance, but unless Sperry has changed their manufacturing process since, there were small differences from my previous pairs that make me think I got a fake pair:1.) This pair fits differently than my last 3 pairs; these seem slightly narrower and rougher inside. Keep in mind I am comparing this to my previous Topsiders, not any other styles Sperry offers. Plus I have always ordered size 7.5 so the shoes should NOT feel different at all.2.) The sole is MUCH stiffer than my last 3 pairs. MUCH stiffer. They hardly bend when I walk and makes it sound like I am clopping about and feels rather uncomfortable.3.) The white rawhide laces is shedding tiny micro fibers and STAINED the blue canvas underneath. It's so strange.4.) After less than 1 day of wear, the blue and white striped fabric covering the insole CAME OFF. Turned out that the fabric was literally just a thin piece of printed cotton glued down to a rubber sole. Ever since the fabric peeled off, I've literally been walking on a rubber sole that sticks to the bottom of my feet (remnants of glue + rubber is kind of sticky by nature). To add insult to injury, when my feet sweat, the rubber then get slippery and my feet slide around.5.) "Made in China" is stamped on the underside of the tongue beneath the laces.6.) I should have done this before, but I wasn't able to find the Topsiders in the navy/white combo I got on the official Sperry website which leads me to believe these are just knockoffs.7.) The canvas fabric is rough and has been chaffing the back of my foot, which never happened to me with my previous pairs.Anyway, I've been wearing these for the last couple of days so I definitely gave them a fair chance. Sadly, I can't return them because I've worn them out already, so I think I will just be donating them. I can't wear these without socks because the unpadded rubber sole basically makes it feel like I am clomping about in poorly made rainboots.Takeaway: Buy REAL Sperry's directly from the brand or a reputable retailer. I love Amazon, but for things like shoes, it's easy for greedy sellers to just send knockoffs. Go to DSW or Macy's and try them on yourself. Real Sperry Topsiders shouldn't have shedding laces, insoles that have a piece of thin cotton GLUED to a rubber sole, and the canvas should be soft and pliable, not rough.

Sperry Top-Sider Women's Bahama Canvas Slip-On Loafer,Navy,8.5 M US
Love the shoes - fit great, look great! Very good quality which since they are Sperrys I expected that. They look great with shorts or kapris. I typically wear a size 8.5 to 9, but was able to go with 8.5 because I don't wear socks with them. If I had planned on wearing socks I would have ordered a 9. I gave 5 stars because I have no complaints about the shoes or the delivery.
