I scuba dive frequently and often on liveaboards or overseas etc. I need backups for backups of necessary equipment that could stop/limit my dive trips.This works on my Olympus TG6 underwater camera setup. Underwater Olympus tg housing & backscatter mini flash 1 & 2.It comes in a nice plastic (not waterproof) protective plastic case. I’ll likely keep and use the case.I have not tested this underwater however I did plug it in and it fired just like the other $90 one from backscatter. The connections seem tight and I had to work the ends in a bit just like the expensive one. Yes I almost always buy their recommended equipment and will likely replace this eventually on my next order. I needed this in a pinch and I don’t feel the need to place an order just for this right now.

This cable costs a fraction of my original cable. Seriously, the sea and sea fiberoptic cord costs SEVERAL TIMES AS MUCH. It's not carrying analog data or my pictures. It just triggers the flash. It works EXACTLY as well as the original and you don't have to do something silly like buying toslink cable at Best Buy. Honestly what is S&S thinking, we're stupid?
