Yes the hook of the hanger does turn.

We live in Florida. Light weight clothing is the norm. Quality is very good. I think if the item is really thick, you may have difficulty with the clips.

Are the corners sharp?

They are not sharp. However you couldn’t describe them as rounded. Perhaps blunted would be best description. Quality hangers. Thick enough to space the clothes nicely.

Are the clips adjustable ?

Yes they are adjustable. They can slide around the metal bar as directed.
