Are These candies spicy?

I wouldn't really say spicy it has a delicious unique taste on the outside and you can taste the chilly powder on the inside but not in a discussing way. First time I tried it I didn't know what it was then I ordered more and found out. It's crazy good and love them. It's a taste not found anywhere else.

Do these still have real sugar, or are they made with corn syrup now?

It being Mexican, I doubt it was made with corn syrup! Sugar is probably still cheaper there ;)

Tasty!

Love these candies — not spicy, not sweet, kind of tangy and satisfying. There is a hard candy on the outside with a tamarind filling on the inside. I get these for my Spanish students to try because American candy does not have this type of flavor.
