This lens case is top rated in my book. It is well made and protects my lenses extremely well. It has an excellent design with the added features of an over the should strap and a locking mechanism on the zippers (a plus to for security while traveling. They come in various sizes so you can get the best size for your lens. The materials are top quality and truly worth the price. I highly recommend to all photographers. I am very please with mine.

I own four different sizes of this line and I'm very impressed. Everything about these lens bags is substantial, from the thickness of the padding to the zippers. Nothing thin or flimsy with these, they're completely trustworthy with my Sigma 150-600, Sigma 100-400, and Sigma 30mm, along with my Canon 85mm. The little pockets inside of the tops is nice to keep your lens caps secure. If your budget isn't on the level of a Think Tank product, these are an excellent alternative. Buy with confidence.

After reading all the comments about picking the correct size for all the different case options available (brand and size choices), I chose this one for my “new” vintage Olympus OM Zuiko Auto-Zoom 35-80mm f/2.8 lens. It also happened to be the best choice available in my opinion.I measured the lens with and without the “tulip” hood attached (both in inches and metric), and noted that the comments for this case specified that since the inner padding is both thick and pliable that the lens diameter can be a little larger than the case’s interior dimensions and still be OK. Since the maximum diameter of my lens is at the front of the hood, that worked out perfectly.As long as you’re prepared with the correct measurements, you should be able to determine which case/size will be the best fit (literally) for your lens.This case is not hard, but has structure; it’s somewhere in between. It has significantly more padding than the other choices I looked at. There is a mesh pocket inside the top of the lid. It’s the perfect place to put a silica gel (desiccant) packet to control humidity while in storage.As close to perfect as I could have hoped!

Note: This review pertains SPECIFICALLY and ONLY to the NIKKOR Z 70-200mm f/2.8 VR S lens and the XXXXL Size (that's 4 'X's) JJC Deluxe Lens Case. It does not pertain to any other close relative lens in the Nikon or other manufacturer's line, nor does it apply to other sizes of the JJC Deluxe Lens Case line.For some reason, Nikon chooses to ship their $2,700.00 Z 70-200 lens with a flimsy lint-free-cloth pouch, and not any kind of reasonable container or bag that will protect the lens when not attached to the camera. Probably a cost-cutting measure. Unfortunately, Nikon ALSO DOES NOT provide a separate container or bag option at additional cost either. This means the camera enthusiast is left to their own devices to browse through multiple websites and multiple products to HOPEFULLY find something that fits this lens.I took my own measurements of the lens (height and width, with the hood attached inverted/facing in towards the camera mount end of the lens) as a precaution when ordering a bag for this lens, and I re-measured with two different measuring tapes and a ruler just to be as certain as I could be. This lens is definitely a monster at < 4.25" across the large end of the lens, and < 9.5" tall when standing vertically on the large end of the lens with the lens cap attached. I am sure there are much larger lenses out there, but this is certainly a big boy.While looking over several different offerings from different third-party brands, the XXXXL Size (again, that's 4XL) of the JJC Deluxe Lens Case seemed to be the size that would accommodate this lens. Now that I have it in hand, I can report that while my lens does in fact fit in the 4XL, the case is too big (mostly too tall, specifically). That said, according to the measurements provided for the 3XL version of the same case, that smaller case would definitely have been too small. Unfortunately, JJC does not have a size in between the 3XL and the 4XL.While the size of the 4XL case is larger than the lens, the fit is still not bad. The lens fits comfortably inside the case even with the tripod collar, lens hood, and lens cap all attached. Inside the case, the lens can rotate freely, so you may want to wrap the lens in a microfiber towel to limit circular spin inside the case. Also, the lens is about two and a half inches short of the top of the case (see photos), so you may also want another towel folded in quarters (or two) to sit on top and prevent too much vertical sliding.Other than those relatively minor issues, the case itself appears to be fairly well constructed and solid. No bad stitching joints or anchors, no wonky zipper ends or misaligned teeth. Generally good, solid construction. While I would prefer a better-fitting case MADE SPECIFICALLY for this lens, making do with this case is not the worst option. I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 solely because while this case works and is very affordable considering, it is NOT a perfect fit for my lens. Will keep my eyes open for a better-fitting solution for this lens.

Bought the 3xL size for my tamron 70-200 2.8 vi dc. Correct height. Plenty of room around the sides. Packing some t shirts in will help. Very solid feeling. I bought the smaller size for Nikon 85mm 1.4 d and it fit like a glove. These are great cases! Make sure to take height measurements. Very functional and durable. Great padding

I find this to be a well built product and at a great price. I use it for my Fuji 80-300 lens and it fits perfectly. Compact, but I think it has adequate padding.

I bought this case for use with a 180-600 telephoto zoom lens. The lens fits in the case fine, with room left to slide in a few odds and ends. I took the case with me on an off-road trip in Baja and it tumbled out of the back door of our vehicle at one stop and hit the ground, but the lens was perfectly fine. There were significant amounts of jarring and bouncing while on the road, but the case protected the lens just fine.The case has multiple straps: a shoulder strap; two straps that run around the body of the case that I was able to attach to the tripod straps on my backpack; and a loop strap at the top that grabbed to carry the case and was the one I used to hook the case in place in my vehicle. (The tumble to the ground occurred when I forgot hook the case in place one time.)

Just wonderful. Well made, practical and protects the lens very well, with room for the hood too. Love the eyelets that join up on each zipper to make a hole for a miniature pad lock. Just brilliant—very sturdy and secure lockup. Looks very smart. Blue is my favourite colour too, so I love the way they look. I have purchased one for each of my lenses. I had other cases that wore out or the zippers failed, so when I found these, I was impressed by their superior construction. Thank you. I will continue to purchase these now for any future lenses I buy.

The XL comfortably fits the Canon 200 2.8L II with reversed hood attached. There is about 1 inch of space left at the top of the case. The L size fits the same lens comfortably from top to bottom but no room for the reversed hood. I liked it so much that I took a chance to order the XXXL size. It fits the canon 100-400L IS (v.1) with hood attached and lens foot attached. It slides into the case smoothly without the hood but what I do is put the back end of the lens in first and then put the lens hood reversed at the end. These are great lens cases that are well padded.
