UPDATE: (1 year) After using these batteries for a year in a remote for a door lock, it was time to replace them with batteries from the order (a year ago) They worked like I purchased them yesterday. They claim to be guaranteed for 5 years. I can say they work after sitting on a shelf for one year. I will definitely buy them again.UPDATE: (6 month) These batteries are still working like the day they were installed.I installed these within 30 minutes of delivery. I read the warranty and it did sound funny but if they work, why not. I also purchased the same size Duracell for comparison. I also had 1 year old unused Polaroid batteries. I measured 2 batteries from each brand with my voltmeter. The Celewell was 12.29 V, the Duracell was 12.31 V and the Polaroid was 12.07 V. Both the Celewell and Duracell worked equally well in my door lock remote. The Polaroid didn't work well. The Celewell were good until 2028 as stated on the envelope. The Duracell were good until 2022 as stated on the package. Therefore the Celewell were new but the Duracells were not(or didn't have a 10 year warranty) Since I replace the batteries every year, I kept the Celewell and Duracell. I threw out my year old Polaroid batteries since they didn't hold their charge while sitting on my shelf. I think the Celewell batteries were equal to the Duracells when new. I will update this review in approximately 6 months to see if they hold up. I see no reason why they shouldn't.

These batteries are great so far, out of 12 batteries that i ordered the average voltage was 12.64 volts and they fit perfectly in my remotes. The manufacture date was Aug-17-2018 with an expiration date of Aug-16-2023. The main reason i bought these batteries over the others is that all specs are listed in the description, their 3 year warranty, and its an Amazon choice which I've come to trust. To my suprise the envelope they come packaged in states that the return & refund window is actually 5 years even after the Amazon return window has closed! I cannot attest to their longevity as of yet, but at the end of the day its a replaceable battery. Hope this review helps everyone out to buy with confidence.

Replaced a garage door opener battery from a different manufacturer that had a poor shelf life. This battery worked right out of the package. Will have to see about longevity, but shipping was fast and price was reasonable.

These little batteries are great, and work in practically everything. We bought a new house that had new fans (or 2) in every room, but the remotes were sluggish. These little guys had them working like brand new! Next, we tried them on our doorbell, which was ancient, and again, fit great and our doorbell no longer sounds like something from a bad horror movie. Finally, we had a fancy light/fan combo in one of the master baths that didn’t work at all. We found a remote, in pieces, under one of the sinks; We put it back together, put in one of these little batteries, and sure enough, the fan started working, and the lights had been set to dim. A few dollars in batteries literally saved us hundreds, so I’ll be buying spares.

It's hard to find high-capacity batteries of this type, and at a great price point -- so this was a good find.When buying batteries in bulk, it is not often that actual expiration dates are stamped on the cards, let alone a manufacture date AND an expiration date (5 years), let alone really recent manufacture dates.That alone is impressive.Two of the six batteries worked just fine out of the package in two separate remotes for garage door opener.No comment can be made as to longevity since they were received and immediately installed 3 days ago. They're still working after 3 days, even after very cold nights (already). The garage door goes up and down without a hiccup. Another plus for these batteries.

5 Star Delivery Service - FAST. It was worth waiting to be delivered so that I didn't have to go battery shopping. 5 Star packaging, Manufacturing date (Aug. 17, 2017) and expiration date. (Aug. 18, 2020). I received these batteries April 27, 2018 - I can live with the manufacture date; that's still pretty timely. And most important of all, the battery worked when installed in my remote garage door opener. My last battery lasted 5 months; I am hoping to get a little more longevity out of this brand, but if I don't, it is likely more of a reflection on the quality of the remote itself, or my useage, rather than the batteries themselves. I will write a follow-up review when it is time to replace my new Celewell battery.
