Stout little phone holder
I use this to mount a phone on my road bike. Strava and other ride maps are great with phones, and that's what I use this for. I use my phone like a ride computer and a GPS. This holder keeps it handy. No more reaching back and digging in my jersey pockets to find my phone, no more risk of dropping it while I'm riding. Works with the provided handlebar clamp, or use it as a headset cap. Either way works well for me. I like the clamp best because the holder is off center with the side extended out to hold my phone. I mount it on the left, and the phone is close to center. PLUS, I can level it with the road and it looks more aero.. lol.. I am going to order the bands to help ensure that I don't accidentally knock it off. I have popped the phone out of the holder with my shoulder, roadside, while trying to get my chain back on after a drop. That's the only time it's failed and that wasn't bad. I'm using this with a Motorola G5 Plus in a Supacase, similar to an otter box. The case has a bevel on the bottom that limits the side gripping surface, but that hasn't been a problem. Great little holder. At this price, I'd buy another one. The quality is ok, It's not the most solid thing I've ever seen, but it stiffens up when you tighten it down and it holds strong with no rattles or shaking, and that's what matters. 5 stars

Hold phone perfect.
Installation was a breeze and holds securely. 99% of my riding is on-road, but it's nice to know it will also work well for the occasional rough patch. There are two versions of this product; one with the rubber grip and one without. The mount itself holds the phone perfectly fine all by itself, but the rubber grips add a little extra insurance in case the adjustment screw works loose. I'm using an old phone as a GPS unit so it stays mounted all the time, but if I were using my current phone, unmounting and remounting might get tedious.

Good deal. Durable-looking, and holding my iPhones (8 and Xs) tight.
I have basically an identical product from a different company and love it. So i decided to buy another one for my second bike. It is basically identical to others which sell at a slightly higher price. It is very easy to install, and can be attached to handle bar of my road bike easily and tightly, and hold my iPhones (I have 8 and Xs) very securely. I am happy. The only complain is that, because of the particular way that I want to use this holder, the words on the holder are upside down. But this is what you should expect from a cheap Chinese stuff. Great bang for buck I think.

Very nice and economical mount.
Very nice, and economical, phone holder. Well constructed and sturdy. Don't waste your time attempting to understand the baffling Chinese/English translated instructions (sample instruction: "2.Wring the screw, fixed the caliper bracket"). Just take a few minutes to look it over and examine the nice photos in the instructions and you'll pretty quickly figure it out. 2 Allen wrenches included even though the photos show the assembler using another tool. It's not clear right away, but this is also designed to attach to the handlebar stem - again, all necessary hardware included. About a 5 minute job to attach it, stick on the included "3M Glue Powerful Patch" cushion stickers and you're ready to go. Clamps down on my iPhone 5 very nicely. I don't even have to take the phone out of my aftermarket case.A word of caution to you iPhone users: be careful you don't tighten the clamps down on the up/down volume buttons and vibrate switch on the side of your phone. Just pay attention when you mount the phone into the bracket and you'll be fine.I happily give this 5 stars.

Short, compact size for tight fits
This is a short, compact, all metal phone holder that will fit in a tight place. My motorcycle has no windshield or fairing. I wanted my phone visible, for GPS, but tucked below the instrument cluster to protect it from being splattered by bugs and various other road hazards. But as you can see by the pictures, there isn't much room, and taller phone holders would block access to the ignition as well as prevent me from seeing the instrument cluster. My phone is a Moto X4, 7.99mm (5/16") thick, and 148.35mm x 73.5mm (5 7/8" x 2 15/16"), with a 5.2" screen. I have a thin case on it, and the mount seems to hold it in securely. I do have a security net on it (similar to the ones that come with the Ram mounts), for additional safety. The tightening mechanism has loose tolerances, and I've been a little worried about it vibrating loose on longer rides. With the design of the knurled screw to tighten it, I think it would be relatively easy to slip a thick rubber o-ring over it and prevent the screw from vibrating loose.Overall, I'm happy with the mount, and it works well with my handlebars.

Bought one for each bike
I have several of these, one each on my mountain bike, road bike, and commuter bike. Very sturdy feeling. The included rubber band gives a little extra piece of mind that your phone won't fly out if it loosens up. I have not had any issues with it loosening as others have, I have a thin rubber case on my phone that so maybe that lets me crank it down pretty tight. The stem mount is very sleek and out of the way and I much prefer that, but my commuter has a riser stem so the phone won't fit in that orientation. On that one I have it mounted to the bar, sits up a little higher but still very unobtrusive.
