These work well in a 5 gallon bucket for the chickens. None of them leaked

Does not work
We made a 5 gallon bucket waterer and inserted these cups for our chickens. The only way they get any water is if we hold down the yellow piece to fill up the cup! When they peck at it, only a tiny drop comes out, not enough to drink. What a waste of money. Going to have to look for the gravity cups.

If your chickens don't peck the valve nothing comes out
My chickens don't like to peck the yellow valve control levers. Result: they tend to get more thirsty and drink less than other watering systems. It would be much better if they were a float type system.

Make sure you clean the cup’s daily they will get clogged and stay open causing a mess in coop
Awesome product I only had one faulty cup spring that would leak which was quickly replaced, be sure to clean cups so debris from beaks doesn’t clogg the spring causing a leak, I have 10 connected to a 1” line coming from dual 55gal. Rain collection system works amazing no more cleaning out buckets or carrying water 3/4 of an acre, highly recommended this setup
