I rarely post reviews like this, but after trying to use this grill I felt a need to warn others! I acknowledge it was cheap at £17.58, but as this is an electrical item it needs to begin at a certain quality and level of safety in the UK and this fails miserably on both counts. The tray materials were flimsy, the electrical element was crooked and did not sit firmly in place, the feet had screws to attach to the base, but the screw-heads were smaller than the holes in the feet to secure them - then I switched it on! The element heated and as I increased the temperature and on position 4 of 5 there was a puff of smoke and a quick 'bang' from inside the cheap tacky plastic control cover and that was it! I pulled the plug! On closer inspection, the spot-welding on various securing clamps holding various parts together were dire and would never pass any decent quality control process. These cheap and nasty products should not even get onto our British shelves for sale (or any other country's for that matter). I immediately applied to return this to amazon, but even they don't want it back and just processed a refund. Its a shoddy, tacky, dangerous product and I would have hoped by now our county's import laws would have stopped this kind of junk entering the UK. Buyer beware!

After an issue with the delivery, the product finally arrived. Tried with sirloin steaks that i was really surprised, my i cooked medium rare and for my wife medium well, the meat was kept really juice even my wife's medium well steak, and was quite kwik. Worth all the stress

I recently purchased one of these BBQs for under £18. My initial reaction was slight disappointment, the screws supplied to attach the feet were too long and once fitted, the unit rocked slightly, even when on a level surface.Yesterday evening, I used it for the first time. I followed the instructions listed here, though not it the instructions, supplied with the unit, and added a pint of cold water under the drip tray.The grill can take up to 8/10 Burgers or 28 Sausages, or 4/5 Burgers and 16 Sausages. The Grill has 3 height levels, I opted for the middle one and set the thermostat to 4.5. The heating was a tad uneven, so you need to move the food around to ensure even cooking. I also had a pan with presoftened onions, which worked well. My overall cooking experience was excellent and the water kept the base cool. Cleaning the unit was a breeze.An inexpensive BBQ with great potential, particularly if the manufacturer addresses the issue with the feet. Whilst slightly flimsy, treated with care, you should expect a good service life.

After cooking 2 fish, lifting up the grill, we found a burnt and damaged work surface of the table.The surface of the table is resistant to hot pans and pots, but now it is completely ruined.The grill gets hot during cooking and produces a lot of smoke!Why did the seller lies about the grill that it's "Indoor Kitchen Dining Tabletop Griddle" ?? It's not safe having and using it at home.Complete disgusting
