The glasses are very nice but the box they were in looked like someone played football with it and one glass was broken, reach out to Amazon and they did nothing. It was a gift and I feel very bad about the whole thing.

After seventeen years our most popular go to glass size were gone to shards. Really did not want to purchase a large glassware set, so these were just the right amount to fill what was missing. They are actually quite heavy with a solid stable base. And the pattern makes it easy to hold. The only negative is the glasses are a bit narrow so if washing by hand I recommend a brush or sponge on a handle. They do wash wonderfully in a dishwasher.

I love these glasses! I'm petite, about 5 ft tall, so I have smaller hands that can sometimes make it difficult to grasp larger cups. These are easy to grip, have nice thick glass walls, so they do not tip over easily and the wash well in the dishwasher. My mom is in her 70's and loved these when she was over. She has a hard time gripping, but since these are a little narrow she can fully grasp the cup with no issues. They feel like nice restaurant quality water cups if that makes sense. As far as volume, a coke can fills a cup with about a 1/4 cup left over, so that might bother some, but I've gotten use to it.

I needed to replace my glassware of about 40 years so I began my search. I spent quite a bit of time researching glassware before deciding on these. I am very pleased. They have a bit of weight to them, with a simple elegance. They are ideal for daily use as well as special occasions. I recommend these.
