Q: Are these 100% natural with no treatment or anything added on the wood?

I'm not positive but I think so. I have bought them twice. They appear natural. I dyed some with red wine and they took the dye well.

Q: What can I use to soften these flowers? Or do they come pre-softened?

the wood that is used to make the flowers is soft naturally. We only recommend using glycerin to soften the flowers if you will be dyeing them with watered down paint. At the time of dip dyeing we normally add a little bit of glycerin into the dye mix to keep the flowers soft once they dry.

Q: do these have stems as well?

These will come loose with no stems.

Q: do these need to be dyed to look white, or are they naturally white?

It will be dependent of the wood that is harvested for the flowers. With it be a natural product there is some color variations that happen. They range in different shades of cream to white. If you want them to be uniformly white you will want to dye them.
