I put some in a little jar and poked a hole in the lid to shake on for extra butter flavor. It's good stuff and my gallon has lasted a long time making popcorn in the popcorn machine like twice a week. **Q: Does this work with a whirlypop popper?** A: Yes, this would work great in the whirlypop. Use it just like cooking oil. It's very tasty and even better with Flavacol or other flavored adds! **Q: Is this oil for "butter" topping, or for cooking the popcorn kernels in?** A: We love this popcorn oil! We use half coconut oil and half popcorn oil to pop the kernels in an electric Stir Crazy popcorn popper.
