Good shoes
I have been trying to get these shoes for ages but they are sold out or don't have taps attached. I bought a 5 and I'm a 4, they seem to fit OK. The only thing is the straps are really long and one strap is looser than the other. Other than that I like them, just getting used to dancing in a higher heel.

Great sound and comfortable
I tried the lower heeled ones first (having been out of dancing for quite awhile) and found these to be more comfortable. The sound is crisper too. And in tap dancing, you need to be on toes a lot. So much easier with the heel. The toe width is good too as I tend to get ingrown toenails from exercising. Found a great online teacher with downloadable lessons. Easy to understand and very methodical in his presentation. If anyone wants to know who he is, submit question.

Not for Wide Feet
I'll start by saying I ordered these in an 11W. I already had these in tan, and even after trying some stretching hacks at home I took them to a cobbler shop to be stretched more. For this new pair, I bought a shoe stretcher and some leather softener. I honestly stretched them for about three weeks or so. They were bareable during rehearsal today, but still not as comfy as the could be. Now, I have to break them in by wearing them so they form to my feet. But I want to emphasize again that I ordered both pairs in wide and they're still too narrow straight out of the box.

worth it; capezio shoes are everything !
bought these shoes for my role as mary poppins in my schools production and i loved them ! they were completely unnecessary, but they were so perfect for mary so i splurged and i have no regrets. i have little (and i mean little) experience tapping, but i do wear heels fairly often so getting used to height was no biggie for me ! i do believe it takes a small leaving curve so be aware of that when buying these shoes. otherwise, they’re super comfortable and the silhouette is beautiful ! it’s also a very stable shoe to dance in, which was the thing i was scared about. all in all, totally worth the money for me ! cant wait to use them more in the future.
