Firstly I would like to say that this item is well made and can be adapted to various size to suit your physique, but due to the thickness of the material it would be difficult to wear under a shirt without it being noticeable.I felt it to be uncomfortable when wearing it on bare skin but it felt supportive over a t shirt.Undoubtedly I’m sure after it has been washed a few times it would soften and possibly become less rigid.My concern would be that the Velcro would not hold as firmly after being washed.I do feel if you are of a lighter build, then possibly consider a none strap type support.

Very comfortable and eases pain

Comfortable up to a point. Can get sweaty if you wear it for a long time and the Velcro straps can rub on skin.Does not stop the pain, so not possible to do normal activities initially, let alone lift weights or exercise. It does give some support and some immobilisation, but I find a sling is better for this. It will probably be better utilised after the initial injury has begun to repair and pain has reduced. I will probably use it when rehabilitating the injury and as protection from future injury when doing harder physical work.
