My father has an issue with his heels (heel spurs). Unfortunately, prescribed creams do not help and shockwave therapy is not covered by his insurance. He had a couple of out-of-pocket procedures and they helped him a lot by gifting temporary relief for 3-4 months. We know that the real devices cost at least $2k-5k but we decided to try a cheap one and luckily it works as well as the one in the clinic. He uses it just for one week, but he already sees that it's working.

This is reasonably priced. It is not a silent shockwave machine. It's a percussion shockwave. Meaning it a pulsing hammer like wand. The hammer is contained in the wand but you can feel it when placed against the skin. Not sure I would place directly on bone but am using on muscles. Will update review in a week as to the results of daily use.

After using this on our patients feet that have had no feeling in their feet for some time, they immediately feel the difference. After 24 treatments, they FINALLY get real relief.

It came with instructions for a totally different machine! Had to use trial and error to find the right settings. The verdict is still out after one use; however, there appears to a slight rise in the Dow! Will have to update on stock market trends! Hoping for a record up swing!
