These are actually little wooden puzzles, and they are very sturdy as 150 of my students use them all day long for collaboration activities. There are some that has the picture on the back so when the pieces come out the picture is there. I had to use the ones that had no picture and most of them do not have a picture under the puzzle pieces.

They were so many lovely puzzles to choose from. I loved that it had an insert for guidance to put the puzzle pieces together. The size was exactly what I wanted.

Our granddaughter is 3 1/2 years old and she loves these puzzles. The pieces are sturdy enough for her so she doesn't break them. There is a wide variety of pictures so she doesn't get bored fast. The only thing that would have been nice is some kind of container to place the puzzles in. We are using gallon-size freezer bags to separate them.

I bought these puzzles for my pre k class. They are made out of wood. No all the kids were able to solve them but all of them wanted to try.I’m glad I bought them.

Does thick cardboard count as wood? My 3 yr old granddaughter does enjoy playing with them, but they aren't likely to hold up for passing down to the next grrandchild.

Each puzzle has a picture guide behind it. I love that it is removable so when my daughter didn't need the guide anymore she could remove it for more of a challenge
