It’s a cotton type material so if you wanted proper plaid this isn’t what you’re looking for. Saying that the material is a think and soft Cotten type. Skirt has a lovely shape and swing to it. For someone if my less than perfect body weight it does a perfect job of giving an illusion of hourglass on a generally apple shaped torso. Great buy and I will be looking at more from this company.Be prepared for a longer shipping time but it’s well worth the wait

The skirt was made of thin material and was very badly crushed when it arrived. The sizing is also way out. You'd need to order about two sizes smaller than usual.
