I've been using the YESWELDER True Color Auto Darkening Welding Helmet for various welding tasks, and it has truly exceeded my expectations. The auto-darkening feature works seamlessly, providing instant protection as soon as I start welding. This has significantly improved my comfort and efficiency during projects. The true color view is fantastic, allowing me to see more clearly and accurately without the green tint typical of other helmets. It makes a noticeable difference in the quality of my work, especially when dealing with detailed welds. Comfort is another highlight of this helmet. One minor drawback is the sensitivity adjustment. It took a bit of fiddling to get it just right, but once dialed in, it works perfectly. 4th: It really kills me that these two new helmets are just sitting there. Had a rush job due for Monday and haven't ordered a replacement, so of course I played with the settings and tried....... Blind as a bat at 3:05 am. There is no way to sugar coat it, this helmet is not safe and has a design issue. They need to take it off the shelf and fix the issue. 2 sensors on the top are not cutting it. Not acceptable to sell something that can do serious damage to the eyes. 3rd Update: So last night I was tig welding and using a new machine I bought with my replacement Helmet sent to replace the first faulty one. Funny I remember the lady saying "We'll send you a new one and you can keep the first as a spare". lol, Obviously she assumed either I was lying or didn't know what I was doing. I know there are scammers out there doing this crap all the time, and they make it difficult for honest people which is sad. Anyway, the same issue started with the replacement... After playing with the adjustments and being blinded over and over, I have come to the conclusion that there is an issue with the sensors or design and placement of the sensors. I am not asking for a refund or another helmet so I have three helmets that don't work lol. I wrote this review so that YesWelder can hopefully look into this specific product and possibly fix the issue. I think this is a good company with value to the industry and have high hopes. Note: I am not a brand snob, especially since I don't work for a big shop anymore, paying for my supplies, which is why I thought I would go with a helmet like this. It fits great, but that means nothing if you go to bed with flash burn. Of course I stopped before that could happen. I guess it's time to go to a proven one, yet reading the review it's obvious you can only believe maybe 20% of them. To the YES team, thanks for the help, but if you have any tips on fix this, I would love to hear them. I don't give up easy, but when it comes to my already burned eye's from 30 years of welding, well I don't take chances anymore.

I have used this helmet a number of times and over all I am happy with it. It fits well, and seems to be strong, despite being a little flimsy. The main issue is that the advertisement shows a removable battery, and a battery test button, these being one of my main reasons for buying the helmet. I almost never weld outdoors so I wanted to be able to change the battery. The helmet I received does not have these as show in the photo. Upon further inspection the manual stated that the battery is non replaceable. Apart from the false advertising on that part, everything else functions as it should and is easy to use.

I bought this for my 16-year-old granddaughter who is in a welding class. She’s now shy of 18 years old and I’ll be graduating this year and starting a welding job in the fall, she loves his helmet does well it’s awesome pattern coloring she loves it!! And her classmates also think it’s a cool helmet!!

Le casque est arrivé, il était super beau et probablement le plus confortable que j'ai essayé. Cela dit je suis une fille avec une toute petite tête, j'ai de la difficulté à acheter certaine casquettes si elle ne serre pas suffisamment. C'est le cas pour ce casque, il y a un plus grand support qu'à l'habitude pour le derrière de la tête, cela créer plus de confort mais ne serre donc pas suffisamment pour être stable sur mon crâne. Je n'ai donc pas plus le tester car j'ai dû le renvoyer. Je le recommande pour une personne avec une plus grande tête sans problème et le vendeur est très efficace.
