I have been urged to try this unique towel by a good friend for some time. Well, everything he said and more is true about this remarkable product. It's unlike any towel I've ever had or experienced. Looking more like a soft blanket, until you place it on yourself after a shower. Large in length and width, it encompasses your body with soft exuberance and luxury. It absorbs every drop of water without becoming damp and sticky. Wonderful feel. Made with natural fabric. Texture has a soft touch. I feel fortunate to discover this high quality product at a reasonable price. Highly recommended. Can'y wait to use after a swim in the pool.

Well made and nicely finished edges. Doesn't seem to pull like some do. I've washed it several times trying to soften it up and it's still a bit stiff and scratchy. I've felt much softer waffle towels and have several blankets from Peacock Alley that are very soft and cuddly. I've always used Matouk Milgro bath sheets but wanted to give this one a try. I chose this one due to the oversized bath sheet size as they all do shrink a bit and was hoping this might hit the spot. I'm not giving up just yet but it probably won't be my go to bath sheet. It absorbs well, washes and dries without much lint or shedding. The white has stayed a bright while in the length I've had it.

I have used these towels exclusively for a little over a year now, and recently purchased a second set. I love that the towels are very lightweight and easy to use as a wrap - they don't unravel when you tuck the side in to wrap around your body. I don't care for thick heavy towels that won't allow this, and also thick towels can be so bulky and space/storage hogging. These towels dry me very quickly and also dry quickly on their own in half the time regular fluffy and bulky towels do. I had to replace my current set, as they are so absorbent, they started to absorb the oil I was using after showering and before toweling off. They started to have an almost rancid oil smell and felt heavy and a little wet when they were dry. And I could not get the smell out of the towel. I tried vinegar, baking soda, oxy products, laundry sanitizers, even bleach - soaking them for long periods of time. My last ditch effort is putting them out in the sun. I believe because the fibers are so raw that they got permanently coated with the oil, and I also had used fabric softener which is a huge no-no with these, as well as other natural fabrics. I have since been using vinegar exclusively. Now I am going to be more mindful of not using oils in the shower before toweling off with this new set. I suggest never using oils before toweling off, and never use fabric softener on these towels, and they should last a long time.
