Has anyone tried putting this on a 2011-2014 Yamaha r1?

If it has a center stem then it will work. You get two different types of tips. One is for small holes and one for big holes. I have a bmw s1000rr and a Yamaha R1 and I use the small one. It works on both. So it will work on your motorcycles. It is worth every penny. You will see. If you get the phone cover and this mount your golden. You can pull your motorcycles backwards with it. That's how strong this mount is.

I have the same one and it is worth every penny. I love myne. I have a phone cover and I can pull my motorcycle backwards. So you wouldn't have to worry that it will let your phone fall.
