mCasting Breman Precision Stainless Steel Cork Back Ruler (18 Single)

The ruler is a thin piece of laser etched sheet metal and cork. combined it’s less than 1mm. so shoddily made that it warps with the slightest force and flops under it’s own weight. For $23 this is an absolute scam. Avoid.

Using for art. Allows for precision.

The ruler was in good shape at delivery. The delivery was slower than expected. My deliveries have been outside of the projected range lately.

I am a beginner guitarist (at age 66) and beside practicing I also like to toy around with the guitars, setting them up, adjusting the neck and string height and intonation. I was using a 24" carpenter's square that I had to check for levelness on the neck. What you actually want is a slight bow of about 0.005" to 0.020" in the middle of the neck at the 8th fret.This metal ruler was much easier to use than my square and easy to eyeball the neck relief and then measure it with feeler gauges.

The only thing I don’t like is the approx. 1/8 inch on each end that is blank before the measurements start. It would be better if it measured all of the way to the very ends.
