This life vest has a much improved high quality buckle. Very comfortable for my 1 yr old granddaughter.

Great fit
Large fits my 6 year old nicely. He just turned 6 so he is on the smaller side being only 46 pounds. My son is scared of deep water and refuses to swim without some sort of floating device, but yet he loves swimming. Anyway, he definitely still has some room to grow, the crotch safety strap has a very nice buckle and is super long and adjustable and will definitely fit a larger/taller kid. I have the strap on the tightest setting for my son. I bought this for the pool party we were invited to swim at this weekend so we haven't used it yet, but I'll add an update & more pictures when we get to use it!Update- He wanted to test it out before the pool party & he loves it. He swims perfectly with it, and prefers this one over his old one that had bulky foam arm bands.

Perfect for what we need
Our 2 year old is ISR swim trained, but we wanted an extra something when we are at the lake or at a pool party. This is great! Keeps her above water but allows her to use her swim survival skills as well.

Turns the baby face down in water
This was unbelievably unsafe.It doesnt keep the baby face up and afloat. It turns the baby face down and afloat. So that the head stays in tbe water with no ability for thr baby to pick up their head.I do not recommend

Perfect
This fits my 12 month old perfectly, she’s about 18 lbs. Glad that it fits now and should continue to fit for awhile longer as she grows.

Just ok.
This jacket is ok. It doesn't hold my daughter up without me also supporting her. I wouldn't feel comfortable if we were in an emergency situation and relying on this.
