is this ink the same one as in the V5 Pilot pen? tried the brand Waterman to refill my V5, but seems to liquid for this pen. thanks.

This ink is for fountain pens. Fountain pens, ballpoint pens, and and dip pens all use ink of slightly different viscosity. Fountain pen ink has to be fairly liquid compared to others to function properly
