I use this around my ankle, i only wish it had velcro on both sides on one of the straps , it would be easier for me to fasten. Otherwise i can not fault it.Very good, fits easily into a small space in the freezer.

First time I have used these today and I'm initially impressed. So much better then applying ice regularly, post surgery. I purchased 2 so I can apply one whilst the other freezes and vice versa. Very affordable compared to other similar options. Pros - freezes quickly but stays soft and pliable. Moulds to shape where placed. Really cold when first comes out of freezer, used on top of my clothes. Velcro holds it in place - massive plus. I haven't tried to move around with it on. Cons- doesn't stay cold continuously (not that I would expect it to). Haven't timed but I'd say stayed for no more then 20 minutes after being in the freezer for a couple of hours. It is the perfect size for my needs but there is probably around a 5cm gap of no coverage from the cooling pad part on my leg/knee. And I'm a size 8 to 10, but my leg is still swollen.Would recommend as a must have post surgery, if advised to apply regular cold compresses. Haven't tried them on anywhere else then knee/leg area.

Workd well and adapts to knee or limb size . Not that easy to heat in microwave as it is too long to fit lying down and standing up its not stable. persevere and its worth it.

After damaging my knee resulting in rather painful and disabling patellar bursitis, I ordered this 'wrap' to help with the healing process. (It saves me having to use the frozen peas and a bandage)! It certainly does the trick but when cold, the content is rather too rigid and so when strapped up even lightly, the pressure on the knee was painful. This meant I had to source an alternative. Still great if you use it for heat application where the rigidity is obviously reduced.

The pads are fine. But the fact that the wide retaining strap is in the same position on both ends, this means that the straps collide when you are trying to wind them around your arm (leg, whatever). They should be osffset to work efficiently. I guess the manufacturers never tride to actually use this product. It can be used better if you provide your own retaining strap.
