I’ve tried a number of umbrellas to attach to my beach chair. This is the one. With a solid clamp to attach it and two easy to use adjustments it is easy to block the sun from any direction and sun position in the sky. Due to its dimensions it provides a lot of shade compared to others I see and have tried. The silver fabric on the outside seems to deflect the sun and heat. Maybe my imagination?Had it on the beach one day with high winds tossing umbrellas around.This held its own, stayed in place and didn’t invert like others I saw doing.Two people have asked me for the details for purchasing one in the past week. Does Amazon provide commissions?A telescoping shaft that I’ve seen on other items and would have been a nice touch, but actually it works great without that.

This definitely exceeded expectations because I keep the bar low when ordering new items ;) It is very sturdy and I was afraid it would be too heavy for the beach chair, but it was not. It is 360 at 2 different connections so you can definitely get out of the sun. I was going to order a beach tent, but after receiving this I will be ordering one for each of my chairs. So much easier to transport and can be set up by one person. I haven't tested the cooling affect but the exterior material seems as though it will reflect the sun/heat. Easy set up and storage.

My son places baseball and so I’m out in the sun a lot. I’m sensitive to the sun and tried another UV umbrella and would still get burnt thru it. BUT this umbrella doesn’t let light thru!! It is very nice and adjustable so you can move it to block the sun when it moving. Only thing I don’t like is how weak the adjustment part is. If wind gets to blowing I worry about it snapping off but it hasn’t yet. Would be so much better if that part was more heavy duty bc it has a hard time hold the umbrella in different positions

I scheduled a solo trip to the beach. Normally we go as a big family and the in-laws have a standard beach umbrella. Since I planned to be at the beach all day, I know I needed some kind of protection from the sun, but something that I'd be able to carry by myself.This was perfect! Super light and love that it came in a bag with a strap. I was able to just throw it over my shoulder with my beach bag and off I went. Setting it up was super easy, too. Just take the cover off, open like a normal umbrella, and then clamp it on to your chair. I love the two-way option to move the umbrella front-back/side-side. It was perfect to move throughout the day as the sun moved.A bonus that I wasn't expecting, it's super easy to locate from the ocean. Whenever I'm in the water, I constantly look back to make sure I haven't drifted from my location. Since this has a silver outside, it reflected the sun and was super shiny that I could spot my location quickly.The only minor issue I had was putting the umbrella away. The cover that it comes in is pretty tights so you just have to take your time to wrap the umbrella and wiggle it back into the cover. I also had it clamped on my chair over top of the fabric that wrapped around so sometimes the fabric would move and the umbrella would slip. Other than that, it held strong in the beach breeze. I would definitely recommend this.

The media could not be loaded. As you can see it was a bit windy in Florida and the umbrella stood the test! It is perfect! A lady at the beach loved it and wanted to know where she could purchase one for herself! The umbrella definitely did not disappoint!! I do suggest if it’s windy and you plan to be in the water for awhile, close your umbrella and reopen when you sit back down, it’s that easy! If you are not sitting in your chair, you can put something of moderate weight in the chair or make sure the bottom of the chair is deep in the sand. My chair blew over twice due to the wind but the umbrella was not damaged! That’s why I suggest you close it if you will be away from your chair for awhile! It is VERY light weight and comes with a nice bag to carry the umbrella!

I use this to take breaks between playing pickleball. I clip it onto the arm of my folding chair and it provides shade for two of our chairs. It has the clip part and two additional adjustment points so u can alter it as the sun changes location. I really like it and it makes all the difference in our energy level while playing.

I work in the telecommunications industry and this thing is the absolute best. It clamps on to almost anything and it is adjustable to any position. I need it to be able to work off of my laptop. This umbrella is black on the inside and let's no light through it so there is no glare. Very impressed. Would recommend all day long.

I love this umbrella!! I clip it to my stroller so I have shade for me and I get so many stares and people asking me where I get it from! It’s a good size and great clip!! Buy it.
