It works well, but it does irritate the back of my knees if I wear it too long. The front is padded the back is Velcro.

I tried the patella tendon knee strap on multiple occasion for my walking routine. I had to tighten the strap multiple times, because I did not feel the support I needed. The strap is comfortable and easy to adjust; however, I did not get the relief I wanted.

Took some adjusting, the first try i couldn’t figure it out. But gave it another try a week or so later. Helps me for the day at work on my feet, have a torn meniscus so this helps during my 8hr shift. Usually about 4-5hrs in my knee is fatigued. With this strap, I can last all day. Definitely a must have.

I have a torn medial meniscus (in 2 places) and have been having constant knee pain. These straps offer much needed relief. They are easy to put on and adjust so I can get the support I need. They have definitely made a difference. You get 2 so I also use one on my "good" knee to support it. I am hoping to heal without surgery and so far so good. I've been using them for 2 weeks now and recommend giving them a try. I'm 5'4" weigh 150 and got the large size.

When I had a similar knee band it was hard to adjust and I had to put it on at home before golf. This braces just slips through a metal hoop and attaches by Velcro strap. I leave it attached to golf bag and strap on when I am ready to tee off. Straps dry on bag when done and awaits the next round. The knee support is excellent
