So these are great for matching colors with the animals and it’s a great starter puzzle for little ones to start connecting and work on the fine motor skills. The pieces are nice and thick, depending on the age of child these should last a while. Great activity to go over colors or to go along with the book as you read.

I can recite Brown Bear Brown Bear word for word due to my toddler’s obsession. I already had the book, but his speech therapist recommended reading it because the book teachers so much more than animals and colors. Trying to get him to follow instructions with toys is certainly a challenge, especially with puzzles. This was a great way to bring in the book we read every night into a puzzle matching game.

I have these in the very top of my 2y/o closet (or he will just make a mess with puzzles). He literally brings me all the way into his room *every day* and reaches toward the top of the closet until I get this puzzle set down for him. Mind you he has TONS of toys at his eye level lol he would just rather have this! I highly recommend this puzzle set, and I honestly believe it contributed to my son beginning to combine his small words. Definitely a must-have add-on for parents who read this Eric Carle classic to their little ones during storytime!

We bought this for our daughter for her 2nd birthday. It came missing one piece. However we were able to contact the company and they shipped us a brand new puzzle. This puzzle is easy to put together and is a great first puzzle for any little in your life!
