Lovely refreshing tea
First time I had used black tea, used an infuser to brew it and added a bit of honey to each glass no milk, really refreshing, highly recommend

A good introduction to loose leaf black tea
I do import tea from China, Japan, India and Sri Lanka, so I am at least somewhat knowledgeable on the world of tea. While I won't say this is the highest quality tea in the world, for a British brand this is really, really good. Most tea imported to the UK and sold by brands here does not get sold at a quick enough rate, so it sits on shelves for too long and ends up not being too fresh. This is surprisingly good and still has life left in it.The leaves are not whole, but are large enough to give it a good depth of flavour. The tea itself is quite mild if you don't use enough, which most people seem to not understand when it comes to loose leaf tea. You do have to use a good tablespoon of leaves and not a teaspoon - a teaspoon can be used on grades of tea called 'dust and fannings' which is what you get in typical teabags here, or some tightly rolled Japanese teas, but this will require a larger amount. The pouch is resealable which is good, and is very full on arrival which minimises contact with air during storage. The best before date has a couple of years on it.The cost is good for what you get and I would recommend it as a good introduction to loose leaf black tea.

No return accepted
Taste is terrible wanted to return it but the seller policy does not accept the return. This very unfair, as we are as a customer and its not great should the return be accepted if it's not great.

Quite mild
This tea comes in a resealable pouch...& the pouch is well packed! The flavour is certainly nice enough...in fact for me I can taste an after flavour similar to honey. I do have milk & sugar though. I don't know howcto describe the strength...laid back? leisurely? As stated on the rear of the packet it's a mild tea. & if you missed it..also low in caffeine...that's either going to be a good or bad thing depending on your caffeine fix. It's definitely not one for those who like their tea strong...I did make this in a mug so if you'd get different results in a teapot I don't know...but on my second cup I did up the tea to two teaspoons & it was still mild...& colour..as a milk user.. was on the milkier side. The best before date is quite long at Dec 24....the size of the leaves kinda look bigger in the description than they do in the flesh...but they do swell up & are certainly not on the small side as you usually expect...so much so in fact that I could quite easily drink this when left loose in a mug...& not get tiny bits swirling about...I could even get to the bottom & still sip tea through the leaves while they sat quite happily on the bottom.I like the taste...it's refreshing...but I do personally like my teas stronger & darker...such as Yorkshire tea. (I know..how uncultured & how dare I compare this tea 🍵 on the same level)....It's just the strength for me....If this was stronger I'd quite happily swap...but perhaps the company do a stronger tea...I don't know without looking. I imagine the flavour of this tea would shine through better if you don't use milk.To sum up...not for those who like more strength in their tea....I wouldn't buy this on that fact alone....but it was nice enough.

I will buy in the future.
I was pleased to try this ' CENVEL®️ Organic Loose Leaf Black Tea | Luxury Ceylon Tea | Freshly Harvested | 100% Pure Natural Tea Leaves | Serve as ICED Tea or Brew Hot | Kombucha Tea | (150g, Loose Black Tea)'.1. You get 150 grams, of premium organic Ceylon loose leaf tea, in a sealed pouch that stands up on its own - handy for storing in a cupboard. There is a tear off part along the top and then you can reseal with the plastic closure inside.2. The leaves are very well dried and large, like you find with Ceylon tea.3. They make a superb cup of tea - I like it as an afternoon treat. Lovely and flavoursome but not strong for my palette. It is suggested that you use 1 teaspoon per cup and steep for 3 to 4 minutes.4. I love that it is organic, ethically sourced and it is from a single estate, 'grown sustainably using regenerative agricultural growing method that supports family farmers in Sri Lanka'. It is vegan and ozone friendly.5. I can't fault this tea and the current price of £8.99 for 150 grams is good value for money, in my opinion. I will buy in the future.
