I actually used this for my cat and it was great

Well these will sit here unused until I decide to throw them out. This is just one of those things that cost more to return then they’re worth. Not that they are not well constructed but they are tiny. Like Chihuahua small. My medium size dog could not eat or drink out of such a small bowl. It may be my fault for not understanding the description but nonetheless this will not ever get used.Edit: so I was unhappy with the purchase since these bowls were smaller than I hoped (I failed to read the actual sizes) but customer service reached out to me and made it right. Customer service is very important to me and therefore I am changing my ratings to reflect this

The water dispenser doesn’t work well. It has to be perfectly set on the base or it will not diapers the water and even then has a hard time. Plus WHEN the water actual does flow down correctly it make a blip sound that scares the dogs.The good dispenser also has a hard time when the food gets down to the last 1/4 of it because the opening at the base of the clear section is smaller than the opening of the actual base casing the food to get stuck. We have to shack it to get the food to fall down into the base.We have owned these types of dispensers in the past and we didn’t have these kind of problems.I was trying to be patient with these problems thinking it would get better- it has actually gotten worse.

Almost a home run.I was leaving for a weekend and didn't want to hire a pet sitter. I decided to go with a gravity feeder, and I came across this combo item. I hadn't even thought of getting a water one too so when I saw this, I looked at the reviews and felt safe in making the purchase. I was right to do so. It really has been a great product. I received these very quickly and they were easy to put together. I tested them out a few days before leaving to be sure they would actually work and if I found any issues, at least Id have time to fix it. Last thing you want is to not test and leave for 3 days to come home to find out they didn't eat all weekend. Luckily all was well.The only thing that prevent this item from being outstanding is the food one. Although gravity, and not automatic, the food does not really spill out into the bottom pan unless you move it along. It basically always has an empty pan and my cats have to paw out some kibble, or stick their faces into the hole to get their food. When I am home, I typically put my hand in the slot and pull out the food into the pan so its not so awkward for them. I wish it would just spill out normally but it doesn't. Overall, it doesn't prevent them from eating so that's why I still am able to use it without fear.Bottom line: Worth the money* Easy to use *Nice product...but do a test before leaving on vacation just to be safe :)

While this is a decent set up. I was looking at a couple others and chose this was as I thought it held an 8.3 lb bag of dog food. I wanted to put my 5 lb bag that I buy into this so I was thinking this would be a great size. NO! It doesn't even hold the 5 lb bag. So I am disappointed with that. The dog food also doesn't just fall into the bowl. The dogs will have to bump it near where the food comes out to get it to come out or I have to pull some out with my hand.Overall a decent set up. I'm not having to fill their outside water dish constantly now and the food is out there for them if they get hungry. They just need to get it out LOL Overall a decent purchase. Just wish the description would've been a bit more accurate. I understood it to mean 8.3 lb/3.7 lt (or whatever it says) to mean the size for food and water. Could've been my fault for not understanding it. Just want to make others aware.

This takes care of the water for 2 dogs for I day. Easy to use and refill. Better than the bowl I was using.

First off I like the size. Water lasts my dog for about 3 weeks in the summer. Water is always fresh, never goes stale.Everything else about it is bad.Food dispenser is a joke. I have a small dog with small bits of dry food. When I tried this out to see if it would work for a weekend away, there's no way in hell I would leave my dog to use it. Granted I had a friend that would come to let him out.But this is a horrible vacation feeder. The small food my dog eats is plenty small to work but it doesn't have enough weight to dispense itself.I had a friend try it with their Rotty and three food they use is just big enough it jams up and doesn't come out on its own.Horrible design.If I'm not on the ball and my dog can't get his food out by pawing at the dispenser slot he'll come get me to shake it for him. So I use this for ease as a daily feeder but I would never use this for a vacation feeder, it just doesn't work.

WOW! First off, I am a regular customer. I do not get paid for writing reviews. Although that would be nice.Anywho, I did not know what to expect with these, but the reviews were pretty good and we were desperate. Pay almost $40 or over $100 dollars for kennel stays. So, I pulled the trigger. I dare say the best money ever spent, but it's a great buy! I bought two sets. Momma cat just had kittens. We kept her in the screened in porch whilst away. The other set was for her son, Rascal. They are both outside cats, but thought it best to separate them, lest Rascal drinks more milk than the newborns. Okay, there's the context. So, we were gone 7 days. Both cats are eaters and these feeders worked to perfection. There was still 1/4 left in the food, and a little less in the water feeder. Now that it is much colder, we keep the cats in the screened porch area over night. I filled both sets on the 20th of November. one water and food feeders are empty. The other two still have half their contents left. I am telling you, buy this if want to stop feeding your cats twice a day. Let them feed themselves. I will say this.. I have only tried the small sized cat food. I do not know how the bigger sized food would do the same. Buy this. If you have more than two cats, buy 2 sets.

I was kinda worried that the glug glug sound would scare my skittish dogs but they've adjusted really well! This is great, it doesn't leak at all, holds a lot of water and is really sturdy/easy to clean. Totally recommend it. Cute colour too.

Only received 4 stars because it's only been a month, and the spring that controls the water flow is already starting to rust. Its very disappointing because the rest of it is nice quality and it's the perfect size.

Had product for a month spring broke completely rendering it unusable but was a great product for the short time it lasted

It’s a really cute little unit but water didn’t always dispense. Seemed to have to fiddle with it to make it click into place.

The top lid is just for decoration. You still need to wash the entire bottle. It’s very hard to clean. I guess it may last couple of months and need to change the bottle.
