Works for a 2001 gmc sierra
Used these to upgrade the factory speakers to Rockford 6.5 inch speakers, so the brackets fit the truck well enough the speakers didnโt fit in the brackets as easy the speaker basket was to big to fit in the bracket but I was able to trim the inside ring of the bracket till they accepted the speakers, install would probably been simple with the right sized speakers as the ones I had measured 6 3/4 inch

Must cut out pieces to fit.
Product fit wonderfully, but I do have to note, you have to cut some of the tabs off in order to get it to fit correctly or you can cut off one or two and screw it into the door frame to make a more secure bracket.

2004 Suburban - does not fit 6.5"
Some reviews said they got these to work with 6.5" speakers. I do not know how, as the housing of the 6.5" speaker is 1/2" to big to fit in the diameter of the so called 6.5" bracket. Some people say you need to trim tabs. Okay.... That is for the mounting to the door. etc... no tabs to make the speaker opening bigger. I tried this with Skarr 6.5", Kicker 6.5", MB Quartz 6.5 and Memphis Audio... No GO! Reading a few reviews on another website... They actually say this will work. But when you look at the answers to questions.... They (that website) actually say... "These are for 6.5" and if your speaker is 6.5", we consider that as a 6.75"""""". Yeah.... You read that right! These do not fit 90% of the 6.5" speakers. On the suburban front speakers.. we just screwed them into the door with self tapping screws. Problem solved, no issues. Sent these back.

Will not work to mount top end 6.5" speakers
These fit good and snap nice and tight into the doors... however, THEY WILL NOT WORK for higher end 6.5" speakers like JBL 609 or 629s... Save your time and money. If you're mounting 6.5" speakers, and you don't want to drill holes in your doors, canabalize the factory speaker mounts. If you carefully peel the speaker cover cloth and speaker off of the factory mounts, you can use them to mount 6.5" speakers. You can use high density foam rubber weather strip to take up any space between the factory mount and door to assure a good tight fit that won't rattle. Of course if you don't mind drilling holes in your door, that's the quicker, easier way to go...

Does not work with rockfords punch series 6.5 perfect for kickers so anything physically smaller
Does not fit 6.5inch rockford fosgate punch series speakers, worked fine with my kickers I had laying around so luckily I got something put in there., had some issues witht he screws rubbing the metal in the door upon install so I had to trim the excess screw that was through and past the adapter plate, then the snapped right in, NBS 99 silverado front doors

Perfect fit 03 Silverado doors
Perfect fit for my 03 Chevy Silverado's doors. These took the work out in installing new 6.5" speakers. Removed the old factory speakers, mounted the new ones to the rings and they snap into the doors perfectly. Its that easy. They fit tightly with no rattle so the sound quality is perfect. These make the job easy. Well build heavy duty plastic that matches the original factory mounting brackets. One package contains 2 rings, one for each door. Works perfectly and saves you the time in having to try and rig something up to mount your new speakers, well worth the cost.

2001 Tahoe Front Door Speakers
2001 Tahoe clipped right in both front door speakers. Rear door speakers don't require these. Installed Kicker 46CSC654 CSC65 6.5" with them and they lined up like factory. Legit. Usually I just say F the bracket and use self-tappers, but this is the way to go honestly.

This item had 2 size options. I needed to ...
This item had 2 size options. I needed to cut off the other size in order for it to fit my vehicle. I used a dremel with a cut off wheel and it only took a couple of minutes. Once modified, it fit my 2008 GM MiniVan, and should also fit 2005-2009 Chevrolet uplander, Pontiac Montana, Buick Terazza, Saturn Relay. I hope this helps!

Bracket is only good if replacing it with same size speaker. It should say that in the info.
Product is good for replacing factory speaker bracket for same size speaker. Disliked because it says it fits up to 6.5" speakers. It does not at all!! Using JL Audio 6.5" speakers and they do not fit in this bracket!! Had to mount speaker to door panel instead of using these brackets.
