The first season of using this 4 step program yielded fair results. Easy to spread and the directions on each bag tell you exactly how and when to apply. This is my second season using the same program and…wow! Almost no weeds or crabgrass. Grass is thick, green, and healthy. Lawn has never looked this good. A little pricey but worth it. Definitely recommend,

I have been using Scotts for the last several years and I can see a difference between their lawn products and others you can buy. You MUST follow the application timing and directions or the products will not work as intended. You must also mow high (2-3 inches) and have sharp blades on your mower to assist the product for best results.My neighbor gets his lawn professionally treated at twice the cost and my yard is not quite as nice as his but is very close at half the cost. I would also recommend a spot spray lawn weed treatment for troublesome weeds. I use spectracide lawn week killer which kills lawn weeds but not the lawn.

The entire yard sprouted with an unfamiliar (weed)? Once mowed off, it’s fine but still rooted? Unknown what it is. We still have a lawn to be happy with.

Good value from buying all bags individually from HD 4 steps when used correctly work great and keep the lawn full year round, but when my shipment arrived I had my step 1 (blue bag) step 2 ( yellow) no step 3 ( orange) and 2 bags of step 4 ( red) not the end of the world for me I will go buy the summer guard separate.

I like that the 4 step line of products pretty much makes this part of lawn care idiot-proof. Doing this myself saves a lot of money vs. what a landscaping company would charge, plus I know exactly what I’m putting on my lawn and how much. I can definitely say my lawn looks better since I started doing this myself last year. My only suggestion would be that they make this a 5 bag bundle and add Grub Ex, since you’re going to want to use that too at some point.

Originally received only one bag. Chatted with customer service and they made it right and I got the full order 3 days later. It’s what you expect. Worth it especially when deal of the day. Only grumble was summerguard bag busted in box.

Scotts lawn care products are above and beyond competitors products. They are easy to spread and produce a rich green lawn, weed free, and healthy.

So, originally I only received one bag out of the 4 and submitted a 1 star review based on that. I subsequently received the 3 other bags and have changed my review.
