This is a beautiful set of colors! I got them for my kids and they’re good quality. It’s easy to use, they work well, and are a great price. I really like the case it comes in.

Edited to add - has kind of a chalky finish over black ink. In areas where I had heavy black outlines, I had to go back over those with the black pen because the watercolor paint had a residue I could see. Not a huge deal though.Usually with watercolor pencils, I either color the area first and then use a water-filled brush pen, or I will use that same brush to dab color off of the pencil point. Pencils are super easy to pack and take somewhere. I've done more florals lately and only had 3 shades of green. I bought this because it had at least 5 different shades of green and cheaper than buying open stock pencils. Loved the result and will be taking this on vacation. Can't beat the price of under $7!

This is a great deal for all that's included. The fact that it comes in a tin makes it even better. The only thing missing is a mixing palette, but you can use the included plastic protection sleeve for that. I appreciate like the fact that you can remove each cake of paint and put it where you want.The paints themselves are very pigmented. The metallics (which are really more of pearly shimmer) are rich, but either need to applied heavily in one coat or in multiple thinner coats to get the full effect. There is no need to pre-wet the paint to get it started; just swiping over the dry cake with a wet brush is enough.

Loved using this set as a beginner! It's easy to use and very easy to clean off glass surfaces. Dries quickly and blends well too!

This is a great affordable option for pan paints - very good pigment and the water pen brush is fantastic. Important to note that you have to turn the cap opposite of what is natural in order to open it - normally to tighten an object you turn to the right, and to open it you turn to the left, but for this brush you need to turn to the RIGHT to OPEN and then to the LEFT to CLOSE.
