I tried a few others like tw25 and Lucas but always returned to tried and true Hoppes. The problem with hoppes and others are they evaporate/burn off with minimal round count (under 200). They also tend to run in temps above 90f so i end up with lube where i did not put it. EWL30 is an excellent lube that stays where I put it and handles high round counts better than other products I've tried. The only problem is it works so well, it does encourage laziness because I can do a range session and my firearms remain well lubed so I may skip cleaning/lubing if round count isnt too high (more than 300). Bought a canik mc9 prime at the end of April, have almost 1k rounds down range already, and see almost no wear marks, just the slightest visible wear on the barrel. My other firearms show more significant wear despite rigorous cleaning and lubing with other products. I live in a hot environment and do not have to worry about EWL30 seeping into places I did not place it. Review: Amazing - I specifically bought this for my vector. I have never felt the action reciprocate as smoothly as it does now. Stop shopping for gun lubricant, this is it. ## Features - EXTRA-THICK LUBRICATION: Slip 2000 EWL-30 has the same properties as the EWL, except it is a lot thicker. It contains a proprietary thickening agent that makes this lubricant consistency like a 30wt motor oil. - PROTECTION FROM CORROSION: Slip 2000 Extreme Weapons Lubricant 30 (EWL-30) provides a long-lasting barrier on all metal parts, protecting against corrosion. EWL-30 is designed to give protection against hydrogen sulfide (H2S), mild mineral acids, carbon - WITHOUT PTFE INGREDIENTS: Slip 2000 EWL-30 does not contain any PTFE (Teflon) ingredients. Therefore, it will not burn off like petroleum products and is safe to use on metal, wood, and plastic parts. - REDUCE CLEANUP TIME BY 50%: Slip 2000 EWL-30 does not allow carbon, copper, lead, and plastic to stick and will reduce cleanup time by 50%. - Non-toxic and non-hazardous: Slip2000 products are non-toxic and non-hazardous. All Slip2000 products are created with your health and safety in mind. - NON-TOXIC and NON-HAZARDOUS: Slip2000 products are non-toxic and non-hazardous. All Slip2000 products are created with your health and safety in mind. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B09HL61J94 | | Best Sellers Rank | #22,349 in Sports & Outdoors ( See Top 100 in Sports & Outdoors ) #53 in Gun Lubrication | | Brand | Slip2000 | | Brand Name | Slip2000 | | Compatible Material | Metal, Wood, Plastic | | Container Type | Bottle | | Customer Reviews | 4.8 out of 5 stars 785 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00815706000151 | | Included Components | 1 bottle of CLP | | Item Form | Liquid | | Item Highlight | Thick, Heavy Weight (30) Gun Lubricant, Extreme Temperatures -75 to 1250 F | | Item Weight | 4.16 ounces | | Liquid Volume | 1 fluid ounces | | Manufacturer | Slip 2000 | | Material | Synthetic | | Model Number | 60015 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Package Information | Bottle | | Part Number | 60351 | | Recommended Uses For Product | Mechanical | | Specific Uses For Product | Firearms cleaning, lubrication, and preservation | | UPC | 815706000151 | | Unit Count | 5 Fluid Ounces | | Upper Temperature Rating | 1250 °F | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Slip2000 - **Item Weight:** 4.16 ounces - **Liquid Volume:** 1 fluid ounces - **Material:** Synthetic - **Package Information:** Bottle ## Images ![Slip 2000 EWL30 Buddy Pack, Pure Synthetic CLP, Needle Tip, 1 oz & 4 oz - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61Z9+D5QC6L.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Superior protection that stays where you put it. *by L***R on June 15, 2026* I was a traditionalist and used Hoppes for the longest time. The benefit of this one is that it stays on the gun longer and doesn’t drip. 10/10. ## Frequently Bought Together - Slip 2000 EWL30 Buddy Pack, 100% Pure Synthetic CLP, Designed for High Heat Environments, 1 oz. and 4 oz.
