Totally worth it!
I have seen other tools. that were much more expensive that do the same thing as this tool does. This is all you need! Just be careful to protect areas that you do not want to make contact with the file etc. It is rather aggressive cut and does not take much time to achieve the the desired result. You still need to finish the fret ends with a small dressing file to remove burrs and sharp bevel points created by using this. This tool is very well made, has a nice finish and works very well!

Works like a charm
It's so easy to use to get those frets shaved down without marring the fret board and for beveling the frets for a nice rounding and crown job. Invaluable for doing fret work and the price is reasonable. Tape the side of the fret board just to avoid scratching it and go slow, let the files do the work.

The File
The file is too rough it is very coarse it will scrape up the side of your fretboard they need to change the file too a finer coarse.

Very good tool for the buck
I had a few guitars where I could feel the fret edges. I used this on it and it cleared it up just a warning. Take your time and be careful because you can scratch your frets.

A basic guitar repair tool
This tool is functionable. It's a little rough around the edges for a finishing tool. I had to take it to the grinder to knock off the sharp edges. However, it does function as it should and the multiple angles are a nice feature.

Wrong heights so use with caution
The angled section is sized up perfect but the straight 90 degree section goes way too far, the file is almost 1cm too high so when you’re filing down frets, you can’t do the ones that go over the body was the file hits the top before ever contacting the frets. My solution was to take a small piece of wood and counter sink some screws on it to lay up against the 90 degree section to space it out and I was able to file all frets perfectly after that. One the fix was installed, this thing works perfectly

Timesaver
I got this for my shop to see if it could help with my re-fret jobs. Does a great job actually, and I really appreciate how quickly it was able to flush file even the tough stainless steel frets. Saved me a lot of time over hand-filing each fret individually. Definitely recommended for tackling new fret ends efficiently.
