Nice product
Ainope is my "go-to" for all my phone accessories. Very dependable. Always improving and updating their stuff, and it works and makes sense to me. I like how this particular one holds my phone and is able to be tightened without obstructing the airflow from my vents. Sometimes, I find that through somw bumpy terrain, it will cause the neck to slip a bit and my phone is tilted a little, but that makes sense to me, because the weight has been compromised once you add momentum to the phone...and then there's the gravity of the situation as well. But my road trips are flawless, and so are my other smooth terrain expeditions. I was skeptical on the price, but after purchasing these a few times for my son and husband, I was like, yeah, it is worth it. I highly recommend. I am not disappointed.

I can finally use my vents!
I've owned the original Ainope phone holder for years. It's well-made and the gravity-assisted grip is easy to use in the dark or without taking your eyes off the road – just drop it in or lift it straight up and out. I've found it useful and inexpensive enough that I've bought them for friends and family as gifts whenever possible.I really only had two complaints about the device. One was that included vent attachment was designed in such a way that it was incompatible with the round vents of my Nissan Altima – the hook was too wide to slip between the fins. I found a way around that by placing it in a less optimal location, which then led me to the other problem: while the mechanism is great at holding your device securely to the vent, your phone is, by design, directly in the path of a constant stream of hot or cold air. Normally it's not an issue but in the winter when you're using the heat, the phone can get HOT. Like, shutdown hot. So, you're kind of forced to direct the air up or down at your feet. This version, with the extension arm, fixes both of these issues. The new attachment for the vent itself is now narrower and now made of metal, so I’m able to use it with the round vents in the location I prefer. Also, the phone doesn’t have to sit directly in front of the vent, so you’re not limited to where you can output your heat or air. You’re also able to arrange the phone in a more variety of positions to meet whatever your needs are for visibility or comfort of reach.Even though this version is more expensive, it’s worth the extra cost for the flexibility you get with this newer style attachment. All is not perfect, however, as the additional weight created by having the phone so far from where it attaches to the vent created a pivot point and amplifies the strain as you place and remove your device from the holder. It will require you to tighten it from time to time. So far, though, it seems to be holding up well.

Works very well
Works well with the vents in my 2017 Prius. Love that I can just drop in and lift up the phone. Phone doesn't shake much at all during driving and the entire unit feels sturdy. I love that it doesnt block the air vent much when positioned correctly. It also looks pretty dang good for a phone holder. Highly recommend.

Works about as good as possible for a vent holder
This works about as well as you can expect for a vent holder, it’s a workaround for cars without CarPlay/ Android Auto. It’s easy to put in and remove, is Open at the bottom for a charger, and is relatively stable. If you’re looking at the option without the extra arm for a few bucks less, I would recommend this one because of the metal hook. I do use the extension arm, but comes with the standard one too.

Clever Design, but a few drawbacks
Pros:Decent design & precision build.Doesn't cover back of phone, so phone can be cooled by vent on hot days.Doesn't cover bottom of phone for charger connectTwo options for mounting with extension arm, or short mount.Rotates easily to landscape mode.Cons:Doesn't work fit phones with Pop Socket very well.Doesn't work well with all vent typesWobbles because of materials and mounting methodIn order to mount it on my 2004 Matrix, I had to hook it in an unusual place. I did get it to work with an additional modification to my car's dash.My pop socket is in the lower third of the phone (in portrait orientation), so the phone doesn't just drop in, I have to gently force it into the holder. I peeled off a metal plate on the panel just behind the phone. That gave my phone a little extra room. This was the ONLY phone holder that met my criteria; so even though this isn't a glowing review, I'm going to keep it. It works fairly well, all of the above considered. If my pop socket wasn't there, or was mounted higher up, there would have been fewer hassles.

Sturdy
Saw this phone holder in an Uber & it was very sturdy all the ride so I had to ask the driver and of course he said he got it on Amazon. I ordered it & it's been great. It fits perfectly & stays put with no problems at all.

Works well!
My husband uses this for his super heavy giant phone, and it doesn't fall out, or slide down. It's great for keeping the phone from blocking the whole vent, too.

Fantastic for holding your phone and using gps
I got this because my last phone holder for my car broke and my last one was in a cup holder so I had to look down all the time to see it. This new one is fantastic and makes it so much easier, I've put it on the right side so that I can still see out the windshield if I need to look up fast and it makes it much easier to see and frees up one of my cup holders again!I would recommend this for most anyone if they need a phone holder that is in a good location to see it and for parts to make it easier to set up and position it properly.

Best phone holder hand down
This phone holder is by far the best I've used so far. It's super secure et the phone is easy to insert and remove quickly. Only cons is if you have a more bulky case it some times get stuck, but a little wiggle gets it out.

Phone held in good place
Easily view the phone. It is held up high enough to see the screen when necessary. Sturdy holder and doesn’t interfere with the air vents.
